I really wanted to like this place and thought I would based on reviews I read so I was disappointed that it didn’t meet my expectations. The lobby was pretty run down and smelled like someone had been smoking. The person at check in was not very welcoming or friendly. It took 10-15 minutes to check us in. We booked 2 rooms and asked at the time th reservation was made that our rooms be connected or on the same floor. They tried but couldn’t accommodate the connection, which was fine, but then they put us as far away from each other as possible. This is a very wide hotel with several hallways so I wasn’t thrilled that it took about 3-4 minutes just to walk from room to room. My reservation came with a free bottle of wine for each room, which he didn’t offer, and I ended up having to ask for twice. The rooms themselves have been updated and are nice, but the beds are not very comfortable. The location is good for visiting tourist locations but seems a bit sketchy at night. Overall I was disappointed and wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Yveey, Edwin and Nathan could not have been more awesome… I thought I may have been too old for the vibe but the front desk made me feel right at home. And the Guys late night who suggested In and out burger many many thanks! They I would absolutely return and absolutely recommend… I think I forgot to mention that the rooms are immaculate and the bathrooms are a treat. I love a great hotel bathroom and this did not disappoint! And check out the Food! There are a lot of great little gems in Fisherman’s Wharf and this is one of them. I I will definitely be back and any time I have guests from out town they will be staying there. To all the wonderful staff.. thank you for making my night really special - from a happy guest and local area resident

Great location, design and fun hotel. Safe parking, very clean comfortable rooms nicely appointed. Spacious bathrooms and good amenities. Staff is very friendly and personable. Vinyl record theme is fun but player didn’t work. They will replace it if you ask - overall one of the best places I’ve stayed in SF over many years of traveling here.

I don't know what this free bottle of wine comes from. They do however have a happy hour between 5-6pm and free beverages. The rooms are fine, bed is very comfortable, and good TV. Room has a refrigerator, coffee in the lobby. Exercise room with treadmills. Close to shopping and streetcar. Close to restaurants

Breakfast is excellent but expensive, we had a $50 daily breakfast allowance and even though we didn’t have a lot by the time they add on 3 x taxes 🙄 we still had to pay another $20 daily. But room was large with a very comfy bed but pillows were too soft for our liking. Great en-suite with really nice toiletries. Overall a great stay in a brilliant location

Clean room. Super accommodating staff. The hotel has a very boutiquey feel with an intimate lobby. Loved their 5pm Happy Hour. Other hotel lobbies feel cold and distant but this one was very cozy and conversational. I had 13 and 10 yo with me and they loved the hot cider every day. Location is walkable to many places. Definitely would stay there again.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The lobby has a modern, cool vibe that doesn't feel like every other hotel. The 5-6 pm happy hour with complimentary drinks was great and it felt festive with so many guests there. The room was very comfortable and had great storage and counter space so we were comfortable with 2 adults and 2 kids. The bathroom was very nice. We loved the idea of checking out records and having a record player in the room, but the records were not in good condition and the quality of the sound on the record player was terrible. I was surprised at how much I loved being able to check out a plant to bring to our room! It made me feel more relaxed and at home. My kids said they felt included because they had hot chocolate and marshmallows set out with the morning coffee. I would definitely stay again!
