It was perfect for our road trip stop. We were able to hang out in the living room at night while our toddler slept in the bedroom, and we had a bath tub. It was surprisingly spacious and hospitable. The free breakfast and two happy hour drinks were nice touches.

The hotel is really nice, clean, and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay. They do charge $15 a night for parking, which was surprising since the hotel is right next to a shopping center with plenty of outdoor parking.

I have stayed at several Embassy Suites in many locations and I liked this one at San Luis Obispo the most. Most other locations hotels are much bigger but sometimes the smaller one give you the best experiences. The rooms are much cleaner and there are much less people at breakfast buffet time. The happy hour time is also much less crowded. Overall, this is the best Embassy Suites of all the locations that I had stayed at. Many thanks to the staff who made my short stay quite enjoyable.

At the time of check-in, the desk attendant exhibited a highly unprofessional and rude demeanor, despite my prior payment for my room through Expedia. Notably, the attendant charged my credit card twice. Consequently, I dedicated approximately two hours of my time to resolving the issue through customer service chat. I was informed that the erroneous charges would be reversed. However, upon checking back a week later, I discovered that the charges remained on my credit card. Such behavior in the hospitality industry is unacceptable. The attendant’s demeanor was characterized by condescension, as if I were incapable of understanding the situation. Upon entering the room, we discovered food debris on the carpet. However, upon returning to the front desk, we found an extended queue. After experiencing significant frustration with the previous check-in process, I was disheartened to be subjected to the same individual once more.

I stay there at least a few times a year. The staff is always very friendly. Less than 5 for cleanliness because the sofa looks like nobody ever cleaned it and it has some stains.

Service was great from the front desk. The bathtub was clogged and filled up and these gross chunks came out. I was disgusted when I looked down at the filled up tub and floaters. They offered $25 which was not enough considering 2 of my family members didn't want to take showers after that. The pull out bed was not comfortable. Overall the inside of the hotel was nice and big.
