Turn down the volume

This place is under construction and very loud at all times of the night. Not just the customers and construction, but the freeway noise is pretty crazy too. Otherwise, it would be fine for a quick stop.

Check in went ok. Once we got to the room, my son noticed a puddle on the foyer. Called front desk, I was told that maintenance was coming. Upon waiting, I decided I didn’t want to deal with the floor issue so I called back to be reassigned to a new room. Back to the front desk. Got my new room card, went to the room. As I was settling in, I noticed that one of the pillow case has make up stain, as if the pillow case wasn’t replaced prior to room service. At this point I was out of worlds. I noticed that the phones were so dirty that it the buttons were hard to push cuz of the dirt stuck.. I had to wipe the room down and spray it just so I’d feel somewhat comfortable. I wouldn’t be coming back to this hotel, again.

The property is easily accessible to the 101. The place is going through renovation so there is construction inside from 10am-6pm. There is a shortage of staff. The front desk was understanding when I asked to switch to a quiet room- the freeway was directly adjacent. My new room was directly underneath the old one and due to construction down the hallway was dusty. I was sneezing constantly during the night.
