Very disappointing. The room was clean and lovely, but the amenities were not good. No soap at the sink and none in the shower. There was a holder for soap in the shower, but no bottle. There was a fridge, but no microwave. There was a coffee maker but only 1 small plastic water cup. When I booked, I was given a partial ocean view, but the room I was given had a full parking lot view. Only here for the night so not worth a complaint to front desk, but come on guys…do better!!

Absolutely love this property. It’s become “our property. With my fiancé and I. And they are Dog friendly! We have stayed in both dog friendly rooms and regular rooms. As per usual, expect the dog friendly rooms to have some more wear in tear than the others. The mattresses are a dream! And the view is incredible. Even the drive into the property through the state Park is serene. Book it, you won’t regret it

The inn is very charming. I was delayed in leaving my place and driving down, but had no issues checking in in the early am. The room has a nice fireplace that’s perfect for the high 50-60s F weather.

So disappointed - wanted a special stay

On the floor next to the bedstand there was a dead spider under its spider web, a big chunk of food (best guess what it was), other big black crumbs on the other side of the bed. The bathroom had black soot splashes on two walls (not stains), very sticky floor, dirty grout, red/brown splashes near toilet. I wiped up water from the floor in the bed room and the towel was disgusting dirty from un-mopped floors. We arrived late so only saw a couple of these things before bed and were too exhausted to call in. It wasn't until morning that we saw just how unclean this place was in the light of day. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because of the location. It's right next to a beautiful walk through the wildlife reserve. I don't know if this was a fluke or what but I was so disappointed. This was supposed to be a special, one-night stay near the beach for my girlfriend. There are too many other details to mention. This was like a dirty motel rather than a 3 star hotel.

Upon arrival, area around the property was nice and serene. Tree lined road along side of golf course. The room itself at first glance seemed to be nice. Updated features bedding, counters, end tables and shuttered windows and slider. The problem was cleanliness. Walls were dirty and full of dust and cobwebs, in need of fresh coat of paint. Bathroom was not very clean and dated. Shower was ultra small. Like taking a shower in an RV. Hairs on sink, floor and shower. Walls in bathroom had patch spots in a couple areas. Property was undergoing construction on a deck area right outside our back patio area, so there was privacy concerns there. Other than in need of a fresh coat of paint and competent house cleaning, our stay was ok.
