I had an absolutely phenomenal stay at The Oaks Hotel in Paso Robles last weekend! From the moment I arrived, everything was flawless—the warm ambiance, impeccably clean rooms, and top-notch amenities exceeded all expectations. The hotel’s attention to detail, from the cozy bedding to the delicious on-site dining, made my stay truly memorable. What stood out most was the exceptional service provided by two incredible staff members, Kim and Sherry. Their professionalism, genuine kindness, and dedication to ensuring every guest feels valued were remarkable. Kim went above and beyond to assist with recommendations for local wineries, while Sherry’s cheerful demeanor and prompt service at the front desk made every interaction a delight. Their efforts truly elevated the experience, making me feel like a VIP. I can’t recommend The Oaks Hotel enough for anyone visiting Paso Robles. With outstanding staff like Kim and Sherry, this gem guarantees a perfect stay. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

No electric chargers for car

Check in was fine. Staff friendly. However the reason we chose the hotel was because they have electric car chargers on the property. After checking in and unpacking we discovered that none of the chargers are available. They are all locked. This was very disappointing.

First time staying at this hotel. Located off the freeway, short drive to downtown Paso. Hotel was clean, with comfortable beds. Coffee, tea, and chocolate chip cookies were available throughout the day. A continental breakfast was provided, although it was mediocre. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Needs better maintenance

Among issue in the room were nonfunctional light over shower, and nonfunctional desk lamp. Toilet handle would stick. Also, if you were every concerned about low shower pressure, come here as shower pressure will take your skin off.

The Oaks Hotel informed us that EXPEDIA has assigned us a Handicapped room when we did not request one. The bed was low and uncomfortable and the shower was set to low flow. The hotel indicated that they did not assign a handicapped room and that it was Expedia that did it. WE ARE NOT HAPPY ABOIUT THIS!

This was our first to stay, and we will definitely consider going back. Great location, very clean, comfortable, and having a robe & slippers in the room was an added bonus. Staff were friendly, and the breakfast buffet offered a nice variety.

Very nice overnight, bathroom and furniture clean and in good repair. Bed mattress in room 136 on the floor and sunken and needs to be replaced. I believe this is the hotel room for people with disabilities - but that mattress is a hazard. Breakfast was very good -freshly made and the dining room staff were attentive and friendly. The room 136 is near to the exit and the door slams shut very very loudly wakes you up and the ice machine and vending machines are noisy. Overall a nice property - would stay there again but avoid that room. Staff was very friendly and polite.
