The Space:
This residence features a direct gulf front exposure and is positioned parallel to the beach boasting a large screened-in patio. As can be seen in the pictures, this unit is fantastically appointed and upgraded, featuring multiple flat screen TVs, new appliances, granite counter tops, and renovated kitchen and bathrooms. Unit includes premium cable, high speed wifi, and smart keyless entry.

Note- The Sanibel Surfside complex does not permit smoking in the individual unit or its lanai, also there is no smoking near cabanas. Per association, no smoking (including e-cigs/vaping) anywhere inside or outside the entire Sanibel Surfside complex. Sanibel Surfside is now a 100% smoke-free property.
Guest Access:
Enjoy the newly remodeled pool, now open and offering beautiful views. As Surfside reopens for the first time since Hurricane Ian, portions of the community are still undergoing restoration. During this period, some amenities may be limited.
The tennis courts are currently unavailable, and the beach boardwalk may not be completed by the time of your stay. Elevators are temporarily out of service and are expected to be restored within approximately 60 days. Guests may also notice periodic construction activity related to landscaping and amenity improvements, which may result in occasional noise. While these features are anticipated to be fully restored by summer 2025, an exact timeline has not yet been confirmed.
Beach access remains available via the side path through Sanibel Surfside, which leads directly to the Donax Street beach access.
The Neighborhood:
For those unfamiliar with the location of this residence, it is situated on the desirable East End of Sanibel, which is equidistant to almost every sought after beach on Sanibel. You will be near to restaurants, shopping, and activity, while still far enough removed to be reminded that you are on vacation and provided ample opportunity to socially distance away from the hustle bustle that can characterize island life during season. This location is also advantageous in that it provides quick on and off access to the causeway, as to allow guests a quick commute into and from Fort Myers without having to contest with seasonal traffic. All in all, a superb residence in a superb location!
Getting Around:
We recommend renting a car, golf cart, or bikes while staying with us. This residence is extremely close to many local restaurants, shopping, and activities.
Other Things to Note:
Guests must sign a rental agreement prior to checking in.
A non-refundable cancellation fee of $100 will apply for reservations cancelled prior to the cancellation policy window. This fee covers our credit card processing fees on a refunded deposit payment.
Interaction with Guests:
We are available as often as needed, but give guests the space they desire while on vacation.
