Front desk person with very poor customer service skills. A team with about 50 teenagers stayed the same night, the entire hotel was a race track for them after 11:00 pm when we called the front desk his excuse was that the guys were young and just arriving to the premises and eventually be quiet. The kids were running in the hallways and knocking doors and hotel personnel never reacted.

The bed had a noticeable dip in the mattress as soon as I pulled back the covers. It was like try to sleep in a hole. Very uncomfortable. Smell of marijuana from the room next door was quite strong. Could hear outside traffic.

We stay at this place annually during the Orchids Festival. We are very pleased with the staff especially Bertha at the breakfast place. She is always helpful and plenty of energy. We remember her from years of visit to the place. She has not changed in her work demeanor- dedicated employee.

I have yet to stay at such an old property! The smell of dust and old furniture when you just walk into the room threw me off immediately. Filthy bathrooms, furniture is in desperate need of being upgraded. An air freshener would help bring the place to life

Clean rooms/felt safe

Rooms where really clean and staff was very helpful and kind. I love the fact the hotel isn’t in the middle of town. Really easy access to free way and the Bluff/seal sanctuary. I was on the top floor like I request. Close to a shopping center for whatever you need!! I used the UPS store cause I overpacked and had to send my souvenirs home lol Pool was nice and warm even in February and the hot tub was nice. I felt safe and everything went as planned!!

The parking lot is very dark at night, with few lights. Unfortunately I was given the room by th ice machine and next to the storage room, which was also closest to the elevator. I think a more unpeaceful room could not be found in the hotel. There was an incessant chirping sound every three seconds, which ended up being from the desk, which is plugged into the wall so that guests can charge their laptops as they work. I had to unplug that in order to get some semblance of quiet. I had to call the front desk and ask for a bulb replacement since one of the few lights in the room was dead. My stay was to have been for two nights, but I checked out after one day since I was able to get four hours of sleep due to the noise of the storage room being gone into OFTEN; people getting on and off the elevator; going up and down the stairs; and using the ice machine. Oof, it was rough.
