You pay for the location of this property - a block from the beach and easy walking to restaurants and coffee shops. Make note there is no elevator so you have to lug your suitcase and bags up 2 flights of stairs. Rooms are tiny like NYC tiny and walls are paper thin. I was up for 3 hours having to listen to the people next door.

Great staff and easy check in/check out process. A bit of construction going on so can be a little more noisy after 9a but didn’t phase me since that’s normal business hours. Wonderful stay and the front area is cozy + this hotel is close to so much!

A really lovely boutique hotel with modern rooms and a light airy feel to the hotel. We travelled by Amtrak so it was super convenient. We had a problem with our room the first night but it was sorted really quickly and the staff were genuinely keen to ensure we were happy. On the Friday night guests were invited to meet in the lounge area for wine and nibbles and to mingle with other guests. It was really nice and we chatted to some fellow travellers! The rooms are very small but comfortable and well equipped.

Loved the property and location. Super charming and clean. The bathroom was very small and hard to navigate with 3 adults, but we did it. We had a great private patio that we could sit in and all the staff was very kind and friendly.

Upscale boutique hotel in the heart of Santa Barbara. It’s a great place to stay but avoid the rooms facing State Street. The room was very nice and clean but noisy and bright. However when I asked to be moved they were more than accommodating.

Property is clean quiet right next to a very good restaurant the lobby is very inviting coffee tea flavored water available all the time customer service was also excellent every request I had was met. My tip my middle age friends like me it’s no elevator and I can’t how many times I went up the stairs. Only 5 min walk to the wharf

Great location

The public areas were spacious and nicely furnished. The restaurant was delicious and colorful. The Inn was in a great location. The staff was delightful. My only disappointment was that the bathroom shower was so tiny that the floor flooded after each shower.

The room was very small and had no place to store our “stuff.” Only one suitcase stand was offered. We had to lay our bag out on the floor. The staff was always cheerful and accommodating.
