My friend and I were visiting missions and Solvang has one a few minutes walk from the hotel. We also walked around town after dinner and after breakfast the next day. We had a lovely time.

Super clean, super friendly with a well maintained pool and hot tub. Free onsite parking was a huge plus. The room is basic but has everything you need. Housekeeping staff and maintenance staff were all really nice and gave a really pleasant vibe to the place. The complimentary breakfast is a nice touch, including fresh pastries from the famous bakery nearby alongside fruit pots and coffee, etc. Having travelled throughout California on our holiday, this was by far the best and most convenient stay. We stayed for 3 nights to attend a wedding in the next town over. Would definitely stay here again.

Outstanding service from the minute you walk in to check in. Every interaction with representatives of King Frederick Inn was pleasant and positive. Room and grounds were well kept. Will definitely be back. The only negative and it was not controllable was that at 6am there was a person using a blower across the street and woke us up. Apparently it happens often.

Enjoyed my 2 night's did not get to use the pool it rained and was too cold for me to jump in even though it was a heated pool. Loved that the hotel is in the middle of shops and restaurants all walking distance.
