The bed was too hard and left us with aches and pains. The third floor in which they placed us was accessed by outdoor rickety stairs that were slippery and your room’s entrance was on the roof, The roof was not some beautifully terraced space, but an ugly stuccoed roof, which was not scenic. You could hear everything in the neighboring room, and the decor was outdated IKEA type furniture. The room and hotel, or should I say motel, looked nothing like the pictures. The room was also dungeon like.

Really convenient location. Apparently, the room we thought we were getting (with a view of a courtyard) didn’t have electricity so we were moved to a bigger room. The window of the larger room was 3’ across from the roof of the neighboring room which made the room feel claustrophobic.

It was a nice place and convenient to walking all over Solvang! Free wine tasting on certain nights. Cleaning staff and evening maintenance person were very kind and caring! Would recommend!

This inn is as charming as the town and the staffs are all wonderful. Our room was on the second floor with a view of the gorgeous courtyard garden below. Sitting at the front courtyard is a treat as soothing, fragrant aroma from the spa gently drifts into the space. The garden at the back has a waterfall and fireplace; we enjoyed lounging there in the evening with a bottle of wine after a day of exploring. Breakfast was complimentary. Our stay here was the best value for money of all along our California road trip.

I recently stayed at this hotel and wanted to highlight the exceptional customer service, especially from Richel, who went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. However, I do want to caution future guests about the presence of wild dogs around the hotel. We had an unfortunate incident in the hotel parking lot where a wild dog attacked our two puppies. We had to spend about 30 to 40 minutes defending them, and unfortunately, the hotel did not take responsibility for the incident. Because of this, I would not recommend this hotel to guests traveling with small pets.
