The interior is very modern and tasteful, while the exterior is charmingly "Solvang-kitsch." There's a very cute courtyard with a waterful and blooming roses. Breakfast was great.

The roses around the grounds of this hotel are stunning in April/May. My room, on the ground floor, was okay. Some issues and recommendations: Ground floor rooms should have split shutters or top down blinds. Privacy while allowing the sun in would be nice. Please provide some gluten free snacks as part of your honor bar. The easiest thing to change out would be the pretzels. Gluten free pretzels are fantastic. Please provide tea bags as part of your coffee set up. Many guests don’t drink coffee. Please invest in a better quality of toilet paper and tissues. Time to replace some of the outdoor furniture at the fireplace. One housekeeping issue in my room - there were spots of dried blood on a couple of tiles in the shower.

Very nice property close to everything and walkable. It’s a little on the older side and could use a refresh but it was clean and they offer free lite breakfast. They offer complementary 2 bottles of water per room but in the food area there is a hot/cold water dispenser that you can access 24/7. We would probably stay again in the future.
