The hotel is old but clean. the room was nice and spacious. The girls at the lobby, the receptionist were not friendly but the other staff were so it was ok. During Christmas the hotel was decorated with beautiful Christmas decoration. the decoration was very beautiful and nice. Overall the hotel was nice and clean. love the free parking. It is a nice historic cute hotel.

I wanted to like this unique looking property.... but it was just ok. As we were carrying our bags into our room a dog ran in (to our room) and owner had to call it back out. It seems like they put us in a pet area, since we saw other dogs in hallway. Room was fairly clean Shower had very low pressure. Towels are horrible - wouldn't absorb moisture. Heater/Ac unit is old - so its either all constant heat or ac. Area was good.

It's an old hotel but that's part of it's charm. I liked that there was a restaurant, bar and pub on site. it was nice to have options. The pool/hot tub were nice though it looked like they hadn't been cleaned. Lots of leaves in the water. I did think the room had an older musty smell and the bathroom was small and oddly designed. As someone who wears contact I was disgusted that the mirror was over the toilet, poorly planned.
