To ensure a safe and comfortable stay for all guests, we place a fully refundable security deposit hold on the credit card used for your reservation. This is not a charge—it is a temporary pre-authorization hold that simply reserves the amount on your card during your stay.

How the Deposit Hold Works

We use a secure system through our booking platform that pre-authorizes the deposit rather than collecting it upfront, helping keep costs lower for guests.

* 24 hours before check-in: A temporary hold is placed on your credit card for the applicable deposit amount.
* During your stay: The system may automatically re-authorize the hold before it expires to ensure the deposit remains active for the entire booking period.
* After check-out: We have up to 48 hours to inspect the property. If no damages or policy violations are found, the hold is released automatically.

Because this is only a hold, no funds are actually charged unless there is damage or an issue that requires a claim. Once released, your bank typically removes the hold within a few business days, depending on their processing times.

Just What I Needed

This property was just what I needed for the 5 days of training I had in near-by Sebastopol. After a full day I was so thankful to return to the quiet, comfortable and peaceful apartment to make dinner and rest. The couch was my favorite, so cozy! The kitchen was stocked well enough for simple meals and even had a little toaster oven! There was a little trouble getting into the house but Cynthia was quick to get back to me and get me inside. I was thankful for that! The guests staying in the main part of the house were quiet and saved me a parking spot on the driveway. I will keep this place in mind the next time I am back in the area.

Nice, Clean and Compact Santa Rosa Stay

This over garage ADU has its own private entrance and is well designed and maintained. The unit is well located on a quite neighborhood street and a short 15 - 20 min drive to all local attractions. We really enjoyed the large TV, comfy couch and fully outfitted kitchen. Our downsides were that the bed was rock hard which was a challenge considering we stayed three nights and the shower was very small, but that at least is visible in the photos.

This property was more than we expected, it was clean, bright and in a wonderful area.

It was a wonderful visit. We come to beautiful CA to visit our daughter and her family. We have been to many VRBO places and truly this one we loved the best. Wonderful location very convenient, close to so many amenities and very quiet and private. It was an overall pleasure!!

Getaway in Santa Rosa

We picked Santa Rosa because there was dog show that we wanted to attend with our dog. We stayed for 3 nights in this lovely dog friendly property. There were also people staying downstairs with their dogs who were also attending the dog show. They were very quiet. We also went wine tasting and visited a cheese factory. The location was great. We would happily stay in this property again.

I just loved it.

I did a little working vacation form this Vrbo, internet worked great. It was close to the adorable town of Santa Rosa which is affordable and charming but not far from large beautiful Napa vineyards either. Can’t wait to visit again.

Nice near Napa!

The accomodations were perfect for us. 1 BR, 1 BA for a married couple in Santa Rosa to visit wineries and dine out. The check in process was not good. We arrived at the address we booked only to find out that we could not get in. the code would not work. We texted the owner, 10 minutes later she got back said that we should not be at that address as it was being rented. All of our paperwork was for that address, I had texted the owner 2 weeks prior to ask about an iron, with not response. She did called us, and said to meet her at another property a block away that was empty, saying that VRBO was supposed to take the original listing off the website. We decided to stay at the new address, it was similar. She called VRBO to arrange a credit and we had to rebook the new address. She asked us what discount we wanted, we said $50. The next morning we woke to find that we had no wifi or TV. We texted owner and were given a call back from an assistant who said she was working with Xfinity to fix the problem. Long story short, we had no wifi for 3 days, no TV and it was suggested to us by the owner and assistant to login to our own TV accounts via a phone hotspot. The problem was never resolved. It was disappointing. Communication with the assistant was quicker than the owner, although she did have husband check router in the main unit. She left a cancelled listing on the website, did not respond to texts 2 weeks before check in date, no wifi or TV. Disappointing for nice place

Hockey stay

Stayed for a week during Snoopy's Senior World Hockey Tournament. Didnt spend a lot of time there but it was clean, stocked, & in a quiet neighborhood. 2 miles from the rink & the Schultz museum.

This was a nice little above garage apartment, in a convenient location for my purposes. The only downsides for me were the firmness of the bed (way too hard, but I understand that's a personal preference), and the strong smell of the vanilla air freshener in a small space. Otherwise, the space was clean and light inside. There was enough kitchen supplies as well as linens, etc.

Beautiful, well kept property. Clean, fully stocked. Had everything we needed.

The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. We felt safe. The house had at home feeling. The takeaways were bed was hard and we would have preferred a bigger bathroom because shower was kind of small. But everything else was perfect. Beautiful home. We really enjoyed our stay. We loved the fact that it was fully stocked. We were able to enjoy coffee every morning without having to go out. Owners really thought of and supplied everything you could possibly need, which was a big plus.
