The room is not nearly what we have come to expect for Hampton Inn and Hilton properties. There was paint all over the floor. There were no hooks for towels. The door had been replaced and not painted. The overall cleanliness is not what I would’ve expected. There was no smoke detector on the wall. We were later informed that it was in the closet. There was a text asking me how my check-in was and I responded that there was no smoke detector and that the microwave was broken so the light remained on this was not the worst of our experience. We have a service animal as my husband has suffered severe hearing loss we were yelled to from the desk that our service animal who had her vest on could not remain in the breakfast area. My husband was so embarrassed that he promptly left the breakfast area without eating. The people nearby were fine with the service animal and the ADA directly contradicts what happened to us at the Hampton Inn in Savannah. It is disappointing and against the law.

Several small issues with cleanliness. The worst being black mold around the bathroom sink. Something gross on the shear curtains, & dirty in all corners of the room. The rug should be replaced in the room & the halls. No coffee, cream or muffins. Or eggs at 8:30am. They brought more eventually. We stayed at The Hampton Inn in Tipton, GA, on the way home & what a huge difference. Clean & Wonderful, including breakfast.

The staff were very courteous. The room was clean. Amenities were available as needed. After a long drive on the road, this was a perfect spot for the family to relax and wind down before proceeding on our long journey back home. One feedback for the Management as we keep seeing a lot of EV vehicles on the highway: It may be worthwhile to put up two to four EV super chargers at your facility.
