The room left a lot to be desired. It was hard to open/close and lock the door. Had to really push hard. I don’t know what happened on the bathroom but there was grout repair everywhere and coming off. The bottom of the bathroom door had swollen and the wood was “peeling”. Perhaps there had been a flood. I did not feel safe because of the door locking issues.

First of all, The Fan and AC in the room was not working. Upon complain, a technician came and tried to fix it. He could not. We were moved to different room. The breakfast - They did not have Tea bags. Upon request, I was bluntly and rudely told- Management have stopped providing Tea bags, you can drink coffee. Well, we do not drink coffee. The bathroom door makes big noice when closed (even gently closed) which wakes up other person in the room. Worst of all, at night when I went to use bathroom, I saw few roaches Roaming on the floor in Bathroom. This hotel is not to Hampton standard.

Upon leaving, the hotel inexplicably charged me an extra $25 then an extra $5.43. I checked out at the front desk and was told that, since my accommodations were made through a third party (Expedia) that they (Expedia) would send me my final statement rather than the hotel simply printing out my final bill directly. Thus, I had no idea these extra "hidden charges" existed until I had already flown back to my home city. I have not received these kinds of hidden charges with no explanation from other places I have stayed so this seems to be unique to this location. Presumably I am not the only visitor to have these extra charges added after I left. It is too bad that these extra charges were levied for no apparent reason because otherwise my experience at the hotel was fairly decent. These extra charges, though, were an abuse from an organization that had access to my credit card.
