The lodge lobby was closed so I had to drive up to the casino to check in. Check in took close to 20 minutes as there was a long line and two people working the front desk, one of which was shadowing the other and not checking people in. I was told we were unable to use the casino facilities which was confusing considering I was checking in at the casino. I had reserved two rooms and the rooms were not on the same floor, I was hoping for adjoining rooms. One room smelled like cigarette smoke and the other had a stained couch with the cushions flipped over to hide it. The rooms itself was not very clean.

Front door was frozen and had to wait till maintenance was sent to defrost. Then, no coffee filters to make coffee in room although rest of supplies were there. No plug ins to charge phone and in morning _ I was locked out of my room with 5 year old due to frozen lock again and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to come while in 39 degree weather outside with child!

To check in or out you have to go to the actual casino up the hill which is inconvenient. The rooms were dirty. The whole hotel feels forgotten about. The staff though was all very kind though but next time I’d just pay the additional cost to stay at the actual casino.

This was the worst stay I've ever experienced. At 1 am the people in the room next to mine had maintenance banging on their door and having to remove the lock from thier door. Then they were up until 3 am being as loud as possible. At 8am maintenance was in that room again banging around then housekeeping was in there immediately after. I could hear every sound through my walls. I loved my stay at the casion hotel previously but my stay at the lodge was worse than awful. You really do get what you pay for.

The listing here on Expedia is very misleading. There are virtually no amenities at this facility save a small pool & hot tub area. The lobby isn’t even open - there was a sign directing us to the casino to check in. If you want to eat or anything else - it’s all at the casino which is a 10 minute walk uphill (or a short drive). They said they had WiFi - and I connected, but it was so slow as to be not usable - I just used my cell data. The room was clean though, and maintenance came right away when the smoke detector in the ceiling kept going off because of a low battery. I definitely would not choose this facility again.

Set your expectations really low. The bed feels like you are sleeping on springs and very noise. Spend the extra money and stay at a nicer place. Thank god it was only 1 night stay

This was by far the worst experience! Starting off with the staff taking longer than necessary to check is in. Since we booked through a 3rd party, they had to “manually” enter our info that ended up taking about 30 minutes. Then they stuck us in a room that was far far away from anyone else staying there. The place was a ghost town. The hotel room was outdated and dull. No microwave, no mini fridge, not much of anything. Defined never staying here again.

The lodge was not as expected. Run down and first room had horrible smoking that made my son and I sick all night. I had to convince the gal at the front desk that she needed to seek a supervisor. Got a different room but it was dusty and very run down. No fridge and no fan in the bathroom. Holes in the bathroom wall and just not what expected based on photos. Had to drive up to hotel casino to get food. Breakfast not included. Not worth the $$ for the room. The people in the room next to us in 123 were loud and the kids were jumping against the walls until late. Others upstairs were so loud. Smoking in areas outside of rooms made it unpleasant and clearly impacted rooms from being nonsmoking. Just a very u pleasant experience for the $$
