A lack of staff. We arrived at 5:30 and there was a note on the front door saying we have to call the cleaner who also registered us. Cominental breakfast was mediocre. Fruit wasn’t fresh. Nor were the bagels . Everything else was packaged. It was an expensive hotel and could have served better quality foood. On the other han, room was lovely with great bedding.

The Gould is a great Boutique hotel in the center of Seneca Falls with plenty of free parking and easy access to walk around to many sites. The only thing that was a negative was the mattress was pretty bad and it was very tough sleeping because of that.

This was an unplanned stop, but due to weather, we decided to stop here. The hotel was completely charming and the restaurant was amazing! Service for the hotel and restaurant was outstanding -and a plus was the gluten free menu which was a great surprise for us.

We stayed for the annual IAWL Festival and it was a wonderful time! Easily walk to all the festivities around town. It did get a little crowded after the 5K in the bar and dining room. They had a band on Saturday! It was really fun! They served continental style breakfasts but if you want more traditional options, there are several local restaurants that serve breakfast. This is our second stay at The Gould. It is very nostalgic and classy.
