Black Bear Hideaway is a Spacious 4,500 sq' Luxury Indoor Pool Cabin in the private and beautiful Cedar Falls Resort in the Great Smoky Mountains. It is nestled in between plush evergreens on .86 acres, just in front of a catch and release fishing pond.

★ PRIVATE HEATED INDOOR POOL ★
The private heated indoor pool sets this cabin apart from many in the area. It is surrounded by a concrete pool deck and comfortable lounge furniture. There is a railing to help guests enter into the shallow end and plenty of room for everybody to splash and play, no matter the season!
This is a private indoor pool meaning it is only accessible to our guests. It is located right at the entrance of the cabin and you can use it all year long (heated).

★ BEDROOMS ★
With 3 spacious levels and plenty of room to spread out inside and out, this beautiful log cabin can sleep 16 guests with its 5 large bedrooms & 1 kids room.

- 1 Master bedroom with 1 King size bed & en-suite bathroom – sleeps 2

Upper Level:
- 1 Master bedroom with 1 King size bed and an in-suite bathroom – sleeps 2

★ KITCHEN ★
The kitchen is equipped with all the cookware, cutlery, and appliances you need to prepare delicious meals during your stay.
Refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, blender, tea kettle, Crockpot, Keurig Duo with carafe & single serve pod coffee maker.
The dining table comfortably seats 10-12, and there are 4 additional stools at the large kitchen island so everyone in your group can enjoy meals together.

There is a private Gas Grill. We provide the Propane Gas.

After a day of hiking and sightseeing, you have a lot of options to chill:

★ FIRE PIT ★
The community fire pit is conveniently located just 2 minutes walking distance. If you plan on using the fire pit, just remember to bring some fire wood (you can find this at the supermarket close by if needed - 7 min drive).

★ GAME ROOM ★
All ages will fall in love with this fun space! The room has a billiard table, an air hockey table, a foosball, 2 multi-arcade games and a bar area. You will find an additional full-size refrigerator by the game room to have all your cool drinks available.

★ THEATER ROOM ★
Next to the game room you will find the in-home Cinema for a movie night with the family & friends.

★ PETS ★
We are a pet friendly cabin and we welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes (there is no weight restriction). You can bring up to 3 dogs as long as they are house broken/potty trained.
The pet fee is $35/night.

★ KIDS TOYS ★
As parents ourselves, we know how convenient it can be to book a place with kids toys, that is why we wanted to provide that experience to our own guests.
Please note that all kids toys found in the home are for different ages and the parents or responsible adults will be held liable for the selection of toys used by their children.

We enjoyed every minute of our family vacation thanks to Charlotte and the amazing cabin! The views from the balcony’s were breathtaking and the layout of the house was perfect for all of the different families staying! Everyone was able to have their own space, but the shared spaces were large enough for all of us to hang out together and enjoy dinner, movies, games, etc. We had kids of all ages as well as adults and the house was well suited for everyone. The location was the perfect distance to every destination we wanted to go to during our week long stay. Charlotte’s quick responses and help to ensure we had a great trip was much appreciated. Thank you for an amazing first annual family vacation!

Large Family Black Bear Hideaway Review

Our group recently stayed at this cabin in the Smoky Mountains and overall had a good time, though there were definitely some areas for improvement.Pros:The cabin itself is spacious and well-laid out, making it ideal for a large party or family gathering. The surrounding community is beautiful and peaceful, with plenty of amenities including nature trails, a playground, and both indoor and outdoor pools — a great setting for outdoor enthusiasts and families with kids.Cons:Unfortunately, the cabin was not clean upon arrival, which was disappointing. However, to the host’s credit, they were very responsive and quickly sent out a cleaning service to address the issue. We also experienced an unpleasant sewage smell and drainage problems in the bathrooms during our stay.The mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, making restful sleep difficult, and the newly built bunk beds had nails protruding, which was a safety concern. Additionally, the outdoor areas were not well maintained — the paths around the property were uneven and potentially hazardous, especially for small children and older adults.Lastly, the grill provided was not functional. We ended up purchasing a charcoal grill ourselves and left it behind for future guests to enjoy.Final Thoughts:This property has a lot of potential. Overall we made lasting memories on subpar sleep. My main point of feedback for the host would be to invest in comfortable mattresses and a plumber.

Wonderful Time!!

What a wonderful and beautiful home! Everything was lovely and clean, kitchen well stocked. Loved the fact there was a griddle and a crockpot. The accessories for young children (high chair, pac and play) were just a welcome addition. The hosts supplied us with plenty of beginning paper towels, toilet paper etc. The area was quiet and peaceful. Not to far away from activities yet we felt secluded. Enjoyed sitting on the porch swing! Swimming pool was a good size and even included some toys for the kids. The game room was enjoyable, plenty to do!! Overall a great place to spend our vacation.

From my active 99 year old dad to 6 year old and 10 year old year niece’s and all in betweenHad a fantastic time at Dollywood, hiking in the Smokies, going to Dinner shows …Had a fantastic time and the cabin was ideal. They listed a coffee grinder in their supply list but we couldnt find it. I contacted the host and the next morning there was a new coffee grinder on the front porch even though i insisted it was ok. Absolutely the best!!!!!!

Nestled in the breathtaking Great Smoky Mountains, the cabin offered the perfect mix of rustic charm and modern luxury. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views and the warm, inviting atmosphere that made us feel instantly at home.The cabin itself was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with every amenity we could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. Family Christmas vacation

Overall stay was nice. Location was great but I’m not sure I’d book this stay again just based on a combination of things. We booked for the amenities of the home as we planned to stay much of time together here vs going to town. House wasn’t cleaned appropriately.A lot of items were broken. Hot tub jets don’t work, was dirty even though they state it’s cleaned between stays, it is rather small for the number of guests the home accommodates ( 2adults max). Pool was not up to temperature and way below the skimmer and given the house rules the temperature not adjustable. Pool company came about 4 days into our stay and verified pool wasnt up to temp and filled pool so we weren’t able to use pool still because it was cold from the fill. Some home theater seats broke and don’t recline any longer.Basic cleaning was bedding and towels. Can tell if the towel or bed isn’t used, they don’t clean them between stays. We had trashes and countertops not touched before we arrived. This home needs a good deep clean. Again, overall, this home just needs some better cleaning and upkeep between stays and would be worth the price.

Dreamy mountain getaway

My whole family went to have an old fashioned thanksgiving together in the mountains. Charlotte was fantastic at communicating with us the whole time! They are very thoughtful from not only accommodating for the adults but for the kids as well from different age range toys, books, plates, cups & utensils . They also had things prepared for our dog like bowls and a bed. This place is so gorgeous and would stay again! The rooms are much bigger in person. The house is so cozy and perfect for that family mountain getaway. One tip I can give you is please confirm your code and WiFi code before arrival, screenshot it just incase you have an issue getting in you can log in to your app to reach out to the property owners.

This cabin is amazing for families. It was very clean and the decor was beautiful without having knick knacks all around to worry about kids breaking. The basement has a door and the stair to the 2nd floor have a retractable baby gate so no fear of littles falling. There was a high chair, walker, and playpen available for use. The laundry room had everything you could have needed. It was great to have everything available. This is the 5th cabin we have stayed in and sometimes it's the little attention to detail that means the most. Simple things like having a broom available for use can make the difference between frustration and vacation. The host was great and easy to reach if there was any issue.

Incredible week in the Smokies!

This house was absolutely perfect for our needs! We are an older couple (in our sixties) trying to pull together our three sons , nephew, and their significant others (35-40 year olds) that are spread around the country ( Texas, Massachusetts, Tennessee and Florida). The environment was perfect for us! The giant open living area on the main floor is where we gathered every evening, to share dinner, our experiences for the day; reconnect, and rediscover our family bonds. Between the large private bedrooms, activity game room on the first level, and the hot tub, who can ask for anything more!

Great Host!

We ended up not actually staying in this cabin due to hurricane Helene hitting us and western NC, which made travel to TN very difficult from our location in South Carolina. Our host was very helpful working with us to make things right with such short notice. Thank you Charlotte!

Smoky Mountain Dream

This home is amazing!!! We had 7 adults and 7 kids and we all had a blast...we adults never wanted to leave as we soooo enjoyed relaxing on the many porches. We even saw a bear one evening!! The kids loved the pool, the game room and the movie theatre. When we arrived, everything was soooo clean. The beds are very comfy and everything we needed was there. Thank you for a marvelous stay...we can't wait to come back!!

Fun week in TN!

My son and I had the best time in TN! This house was perfect! It was way more house than we needed, but we had thought we might have friends joining us. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. My son enjoyed fishing in the pond. Location is great and was close to everything we wanted to do! Highly recommended!!
