We really enjoyed our stay at Windsong lodge. The cabin style room is very clean with a balcony. Great location to go to town city and exit glacier hike. Onsite restaurant with good food choices for our teenage son and young daughter. Would highly recommend this Lodge to anyone who wants to visit Seward!

The lobby is AMAZING!, As are the front desk staff! They were so welcoming, helpful and kind. I handed them a twisted mess of reservations from 3rd party sites due to a change in plans, they ironed it out promptly and accommodated us to our liking. A big thank you to them! Our rooms are squeaky clean and new!!

Nice rooms. Loved the balcony and quiet, convenient location. Restaurant was great, too. Lodge was just a few miles from the Exit Glacier- picture from the lower part of the Marmot Trail.

This place is amazing! It's a hub for all the tours, plus there is an onsite shuttle that takes you to the harbor, downtown, even the local grocery store! The staff is very friendly and you can even catch a ride to your room or the restaurant on site.

We loved the "wilderness aspect" of Seward Windsong Lodge. The property was well-maintained & the walking trails were very nice. The main check-in area was beautiful! The rooms were rustic & decorated well, the room was clean, and the beds were AMAZING! However, the rooms could use some basic updates, like shower heads, a normal size toilet, & OUTLETS THAT WILL HOLD A PLUG instead of allowing it to fall out immediately/with minor use. Although it was nice to have the sink outside of the actual bathroom, it was NOT. COOL. when someone got up earlier than everyone else & turned the light on above the sink--everyone in the room was then instantly awake! Better lighting in the room would also be great--especially above the mirrored table area next to the fridge, so it could also be used for hair/makeup.

Nice out of the hussle of Seward!

Great place and quiet as long as neighboring properties control their crazies. Bed could be a bit more comfortable but accommodations were very nice.

While the lodge is fairly new, and the decor is charming, there is very little insulation or sound proofing. Each unit has 8 or so rooms, and you can hear all the other guests walking, toilets flushing, showers running etc. When others go up and down the outdoor stairs or walk along the porches, it sounds like an army going by. We stayed 3 nights with different neighbors but it was loud no matter who was around. The Hotel and staff are seasonal, and since we stayed early in the season, no one seemed to know what they were doing. From checking in to getting coffee from the breakfast bar, every staff member was confused or incompetent. Room was missing a microwave and there was no iron either. Free shuttle to points around town was a pleasant bonus.

First, amazing service and super easy convenient transportation. Best part is the transportation and handling of the luggage. Our luggage from train was handled to our rooms from our rooms to the cruise ship without us touching them. Close to everything too. Only complaint is late check in 4 pm no room for sooner.

Great proximity to Seward without being right in it. Beautiful property ground across from resurrection river. Kinda bare bones inside but does have a fridge for people keeping things for day adventures and nice lodge restaurant and cute tiny gift shop with a little coffee shop inside.
