The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous. The only con was I wished they included breakfast or at the very least supplied free hot coffee in the morning. You had to pay for breakfast.

I booked my reservation well in advance, yet upon check-in I was assigned a disabled-access room. While I have the utmost respect for guests who require accessible accommodations, I do not have a disability and did not request such a room. The room itself was clearly outdated, and the shower design—an open, curtain-style setup—caused water to spill throughout the bathroom, making it uncomfortable and inconvenient to use. This significantly detracted from the quality of my stay. When I raised the issue at the front desk and requested a room change, I was told that no alternative rooms were available. I was also informed that because I booked through Expedia rather than directly with the hotel, my options were limited and that booking directly might have resulted in a better room assignment. This was particularly disappointing, as I made my reservation far in advance and expected standard accommodations consistent with the Courtyard by Marriott brand. Additionally, the staff told me they were hosting a basketball team , which appeared to influence room availability and allocation. As a paying guest with a long-standing reservation, I expected a more thoughtful and equitable resolution. I am sharing this feedback because I generally associate the Marriott name with consistency, comfort, and professionalism, and this experience fell short of those expectations. I would appreciate your review of this matter and a response regarding how this situation might be addressed.

The room was very small. The room needed help. The curtains were torn and the bathtub needed to be recalked. Sofa was uncomfortable. For the price per day I expected better from a Marriott. We didnt pay for breakfast but its just order at a counter. We wint be staying there again.

Pleasant stay at hotel visiting family in Simi Valley. Liked the coffee bar and breakfast options. Staff was friendly, but initially errored in not including breakfast (which we had paid for when making reservations). Comfortable room and bed, however noise of heating system was a bit of a distraction. Also, the tv placement in the room left the person on left side of the bed seeing only part of screen.....very strange.
