Fantastic location, steps from the ski lockers to the slopes. The unit is warm and cozy. The fireplace was a plus! A few little upgrade would have made a big difference. Bad pillows, really cheap little soap packets. But wow, the location!

The listing is just as its depicted, it’s a great location, had everything we needed & the bed is extremely comfortable. There was a little minor confusion on my part with the check in procedure, but it was no problem at all and the host was great & very quick to respond to all my questions. The hot tubs on the property were wonderful after our days on the slopes. We would definitely stay here again!

Stay at this property was alright. The place is a little outdated. I know it’s been heavily used, but the repairs are far less than professional. Shower and sink do not drain. These issues impact the quality of the stay greatly. Deters us from ever coming back.

Perfect!!

This property was the perfect location for us to stay when recently visiting Cass, WV to ride the train. We enjoyed the cleanliness or the room, the comfortable bed, and the wonderful amenities that Snowshoe and Allegheny Springs had to offer. Would highly recommend!

Room was tight but clean. Property was very worn and looked dirty. With very few guests, I would have thought that one of the ladies at the checkin desk could have vacuumed the lobby areas. The gungy carpet at the front door should be replaced.

Great place to have a peaceful vacation

Good apartment with peaceful view. Clean, bedding and towels are freshly washed, towels are plenty (for the 2 of us we had 5 sets), enough toilet paper. Kitchen is equipped with everything one needs, nice plates, pretty silverware, all kitchen needs are covered (scissors, bottle opener, pizza cutter, multiple utensils, cooking oil, salt, pepper, garbage bags, paper towels and I am sure I forgot to mention more things). Balcony with comfortable chairs. Bed is king size and comfortable, enough pillows and additional blankets. Communication was great- we had all questions answered and assistance provided in no time. We had a small issue with frying pan- guests scratched it and it was not usable .I mentioned this to the host. Within 2 hours I met a manager and had two frying pans. Couldn’t ask for any better care. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The pool and hot tubs were a big plus. I would suggest trying off road tour and shooting clays. We will definitely stay with the same host when coming back.

Good time despite the rain

Property was clean and spacious. Had a nice little porch and a fireplace. Loved the fireplace. Kitchen was well equipped. The fridge is apartment sized. Would have liked to have scouring pads to assist in cleaning pots and pans. Check out was simple. Host was responsive to text messages. There is an entrance to Cheat Mountain Pizza directly from the Allegheny Springs building. They had good pizza. Salads were massive.

The room was fantastic, we cooked both nights plenty of dishes , silverware cooking utensils plates etc....The bed was very comfortable two TVs gas fire place That came with a view of the slopes, they have a ski locker in the basement which will fit 2 snowboards and helmets right by the slope for easy access. Two hot tubes and heated pool only for quest stay at AS. We enjoyed our stay and recommend this room.

Great location

Condo is right in the village and close to Ballhooter lift. Check-in was pretty chaotic with a lot of cars in front of us. We had an issue with our keypad code, but the owner was very responsive and we only waited in the hallway about 10 minutes. Just FYI the ski locker will not fit 4 snowboards; barely had room for 1 adult and 2 kids’ boards. Overall we had a nice stay and would definitely stay in this unit again!

Great location for families going to ski school

The layout worked well for our small family. In the village are definitely smaller units but convenient. We had a small issue with the fridge but otherwise a wonderful stay.

Great location and lodge, this unit needs a little TLC

Check in was a bit hectic with many cars blocking in others and a long wait line. The ski locker was broken but we had maintenance fix it. There were dirty sheets on the pull out sofa bed but cleaners should have taken care of this. Three items need repair- the smoke detector in the main living space wasn’t secure on the ceiling (hanging from wires), the fridge and freezer aren’t working properly (too warm) and the metal towel rack in the bathroom is broken. All items that just need a little TLC but overall a great unit and location. Thanks for letting us rent your place!

I have been to Snowshoe and stayed at Allegheny Springs several times in the past. This is the first time I have not booked through Snowshoe because of availability. The unit was fairly clean but could have been cleaner. It would have been nice to have soap/shampoo provided for the shower. The towel rack in the bathroom was broken but balanced in place so it appeared fine until you tried to hang a towel on it, then it fell to the floor. The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling when we moved in. Overall, the unit was nice, it could have just had a little more attention to detail and sprucing up. I would say overall the units are a bit tidier when booking through Snowshoe.

Great place for a family ski trip

Check in was easy, everything was clean, and the kitchen included all the pots, pans, utensils, etc. needed to prepare meals for the whole family. Which was pretty important to us this trip since we wanted to avoid large gatherings in the restaurants. Our contact was also very quick to respond to any questions. Loved how close the slopes are to the ski locker room.
