The first room was utterly disgusting. No mincing words. The tv didn’t work, there were weird stains on the walls, the bathroom was dirty and the smell in the room was horrible. The AC was off upon arrival so it had a super damp feeling also. To top it all off, it was an exterior entrance nestled between people that appeared to be long term tenants and the overwhelming smell of substances not legal in all states. We switched and the second room was minimally improved. Would never stay again or recommend.

I would classify the hotel fairly basic, but the staff was very friendly and breakfast included freshly back pastries that were excellent. The hotel is within walking distance to Notre Dame, but it is a long walk. On a football weekend, you can stay here and avoid the cost of parking on campus.

The hotel needs updates to its rooms, we had 2 separate rooms (they couldn't put us next to each other for some reason) Both rooms were different and need upgrades. The bathroom had mildew in the shower, the shower head was broken, you had to hold the handle down on the toilet for it to finally flush. The air units need adjusting, there is hot and then cold- no middle.. The other room appeared more older with smaller bathroom. If you are just looking to sleep and shower and not really spend time in the room, it is fine. One staff member in the mornings was wonderful, but night time staff wasn't as pleasant .

We paid for a KING bed but got a double. Shower was disgusting. Faucet was loose. Looks like they forgot to equipe the room with furniture. No hairdryer. We stayed for 1 night and out we go.

Wingate by Wyndham

Rather old hotel rebranded as a Wyndham. Staff trying hard to please but old carpeting in rooms , frayed and worn carpeting in hallway. To pay over $300/ night for this dump was insane. Wyndham name is sullied being associated with this place.

Upon arrival for our second night we found that no maid service had been done. We called for this to be rectified. Wasn’t informed upon checking in that I had to request second day service. The light above the coffee maker was no working, needed to see instructions on making coffee. The shower was difficult to understand its operation.

I booked a room 6 months in advance for a concert. Wyndham realized they could make a lot more money by not accepting my reservation (and many others) and failed to notify anyone. What transpired was an absolute mess. All so Wyndham could make a few extra bucks. I will never stay at another Wyndham ever again. And Expedia has yet to reimburse me for my expenses. An all around disappointing situation that could have been remedied by Wyndham doing the right thing. There were many of us that had no where to go hours before the concert. Some had to sleep in their vehicles. I had to drive an hour in the opposite direction of where I live just to have a place for my family to sleep that night. Do better! You just lost a lot of customers.
