Great and welcoming staff with a very clean room. The only thing I would of enjoyed more was having better water pressure in the shower but other than that we enjoyed our stay.

A very cool & welcoming atmosphere (we especially loved the leys upon check-in) and very friendly front desk staff, but overall not worth the price. We stayed as a family of four with two kids under 10. The lobby vibe was fun and the poolside movies were a great touch. However, our first room had a ceiling leak and a large wet spot in the carpet (which I stepped right into). It also had a strong musty smell. The staff handled it quickly and moved us, but the second room had the same lingering odor. For the cost, I expected cleaner, fresher rooms. A positive was laundry on every floor (not free & you need to bring detergent). Dining was another frustration — we repeatedly tried to get food on site during what seemed like normal hours, but options were either closed or understaffed. Luckily, the surrounding area has plenty of restaurants, but it was inconvenient with hungry kids & there was always a wait. The pool area itself is nice, with floor-to-ceiling doors that open to the outdoors. But the hot tub was not clean, and the glossy tile flooring around the pool is EXTREMELY slippery & especially dangerous for little kids & older adults. We ended up laying towels down just to create safe walking paths. Overall, despite a few good touches and great staff, the cost didn’t match the quality or convenience. We wouldn’t stay here again in its current state.

Excellent resort, the room was wonderful and very comfortable. Staff were incredible. Had a fabulous time. Highly recommend the accommodations at Margaritaville South Lake Tahoe. We will be back!!!

Room was very clean. Friendly staff. Wonderful stay. Only issue was an unexpected attempt to charge a $40/day valet parking fee that was not disclosed when booking, in addition to the already high $50/day resort fee (this was disclosed). Landshark had great food!

The place was nice and the staff were super helpful. However, I was not happy about getting blindsided and having to pay extra for "Resort Fee" or "Valet only Parking." I'm happy to pay if those fees were mentioned upfront, not when it was presented to me after I have already PAID on expedia. I need some form of compensation or clearer communicaton or else I won't be using expedia or book margaritaville resort in the future.

I think the restaurants could be better and TV selections. Also, I think it sucks that you only get 2 free bottle waters for your whole stay and after that you have to pay. It should be at least 2 bottles a day. I think it sucks $40 a day for valet and you can't charge your EV. I probably won't stay there again when visiting South Lake Tahoe car. You have to charge at another hotel. I wo
