I really enjoyed my stay at Margaritaville Resort in South Lake Tahoe. The location is amazing, right next to the village and the ski resort, making it extremely convenient for dining, shopping, and skiing. The service was excellent, and the staff were outstanding throughout the stay, friendly, helpful, and professional. Breakfast is not included, but I highly recommend using the $25 credit per night toward breakfast. Breakfast costs about $55 for two people, and the credit makes it a much better value. The breakfast itself was very good, with good quality and variety. The rooms are a perfect size, clean, and well laid out, and overall the resort has a great vibe. The valet parking, while expensive at $50 per night, was very convenient and the service itself was excellent. Self-parking costs $35 each time you enter, which makes valet feel almost mandatory, but again, the valet staff did an amazing job. The only downside was the bed and pillows, which were not very comfortable, and the bed sheets had an unpleasant smell, almost like blood, which was disappointing. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, I really liked the resort and would consider staying again, especially because of the location, service, and staff.
