Spring Lake waterfront home on Markers Cove with full Spring Lake access!

We are excited to welcome you to our home, Compass Cove!
This is a three bedroom, two bath home located on Markers Channel of the very popular Smiths Bayou on Spring Lake!
Our home has an open floor plan and set up comfortably for family entertaining. The large kitchen is fully stocked and ready for your family meal at the large farm table!
There are 3 bedrooms. Bedroom One with a king Saatva mattress and master bath, Bedroom Two with a new king mattress, and bedroom three with two extra-long twin beds. A twin sized air mattress and an infant pack-n-play are also provided.
The large open great room is the perfect gathering space with access to over 550sqft of outdoor decking that leads to a very nice sized yard for outdoor activities. There is 180' of water frontage with 100' of seawall for you to tie off your own boat.
Compass Cove includes a paddle boat and two Kayaks for your families enjoyment. Excellent fishing and boating right from the seawall. A fire pit is on site for evening enjoyment.
We are located approximately 2 miles from North Shore beach and 3 miles from Grand Haven State Park beach. Hoffmaster State Park is also only just over 3 miles North of our home. All of these parks have great beaches right on the beautiful Lake Michigan and wonderful hiking trails.
Bike trails are abundant and start right outside the neighborhood leading you to all the amenities Spring Lake and Grand Haven have to offer. A HUGE transformation just happened in downtown Spring Lake making this a choice destination with award-winning restaurants, bars and breweries. Grand Haven (Coast Guard City, USA) has also done some major renovations along the waterway and the main street offering tons of amazing shops and in the evening you can enjoy the 2nd largest waterfront musical fountain in the United States! The new band shell right on the waterway has many events as well that are very exciting to attend.
Please note the location of Compass Cove. We are located just off Highway 31. If you can't bear the sound of traffic this is not the home for you. In the yard the traffic does not go unnoticed. In the home it can be heard at times but certainly not disruptive. Let us know if you prefer to sleep with a fan or white noise maker.
This is our personal home. We love it, are thrilled to share it with you, and want to do our best so you love it just as much.

Great little get away.

Property was nice and clean. House was only a few minutes from downtown Grand Haven and Muskegon. We even made the easy 40 minute drive to the dunes to drive the buggies during our stay. Highway noise was not a big for us, the convenience of easy access to and from 31 was great. Owners were great to work with as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Sweet spot!!

Cannot express how wonderful it is to vacation on the water with toys for the whole family including our dog. The house is super cute and has everything we wanted/needed. In the area are dune rides, quirky museums, berry picking, horseback riding and of course the best sandy beaches in the country. We loved it, thank you!

We were so fortunate to be able to stay here! The home was spotless, tastefully decorated, had a well stocked kitchen and served all of our needs. My grandson loves to fish and basically just walked right out the door and he was catching all kinds of fish. The owners were amazing to work with, were immediately available if we needed anything. Overall, this was a relaxing and very pleasant experience for my family and myself. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Was clean and spacious. Location was good and we were close to Grand Haven and family, our married children stayed with us and there was plenty of room. Everything worked fine in the house and everyone had a king or queen bed. Over all it was a nice place to stay.

Coming home for a visit

Beautiful home, great vacation!

So nice having our boat right out back, spending the day on the water, then coming back to grill, play yard games, have a fire and enjoy the beautiful home. Great temporary home!

We stayed here for two weeks upon relocating to Michigan with our infant, toddler, and two dogs. The home had everything we needed - even toys! It is spotlessly clean. Location is convenient to many attractions. Close to freeway, but that is noted in the listing. Overall great!

Great house and pet friendly

Great space and was able to bring my pet. Yard is not fenced, so your pet needs to stay in leash. You can tell the owners take care, they came by multiple times during our start to water plants on the patio.

Fun on the Bayou

Impeccably clean property. Loved the paddle board, kayaks and paddle boat. All the household amenities were first rate. Caught more fish in the backyard canal than on the lake. Smoked a pork shoulder on the Traeger; Awesome.

Wonderful!

Absolutely all you could ask for - helpful and prompt host, clean and comfortable home, great location for all the fun in western MI! Our family enjoyed the use of the paddle boat, kayaks and outdoor games. They even provided toys and a portable crib for the 1 year old. Kitchen was well stocked too! Master bathroom is a little on the small side but sleep number bed more than made up for it!
