Room was clean. The AC heat unit was broke. You could not see what temperature or what fan speed or options you had on it so it got very warm in there. Trying to turn it down shut it off. Had to have help getting into the front door because it would not open without assistance. Parking was OK however it did not seem safe with the type of vehicles in the parking lot from locals staying at the hotel. The breakfast area seemed to have a lot of questionable people coming in and filling bags with food. It was like they were getting food for the day.

Friendly staff but this facility in complete need of a remodel. Room is in terrible condition but it does seem like staff did put effort into putting lipstick on a pig. Very funky odor from headboard. Ended up just checking out and driving into the night. If your desperate, sleep in your car instead.

The hotel room had missing plaster and a chip/crack in the toilet seat. I will say it was clean but had a few homeless people hanging out in the parking lot. We asked for a room on the other side of the hotel but couldn’t be accommodated based on our type of booking. It was incredibly loud with street noise and the person staying next to me kept going outside to smoke weed. I was just left with a very unsafe feeling but everything worked out OK. Staff was nice but this place has seen better days for sure. When you look at pictures on Expedia, Econolodge only had one pic of the room and the others were of the lobby. It was just overall dirty and I will never stay there again. There’s better options on Kearney St. on either side of the road. Don’t waste your time and money with EconoLodge in Springfield, MO.

Room was spotless, everything in the bath was great, beds were comfortable. It would have been nice to have a second garbage can by the bathroom. Breakfast was wonderful. There were many hot items. Would go here again.

This place is terrible Toliet, microwave and rugs were dirty. Fruinture was broken. We checked right back out and went to another motel.
