This property needs some work; the room's bathroom was quite worn, in addition to the carpet, the room chairs, and benches. (The chair had visible stains on it and the bench had its vinyl ripping off in sections. Shower also had stains in it.) The bed sheets were clean, but definitely aged; the bed was not at all firm. The room lights were extremely dim, and flickered a bit. Housekeeping took a gratuity after the first of two nights, but did not replace any towels or straighten up the bed, or even empty the trash. This is a basic room maintenance issue and it wasn't done. The room was less expensive than other area hotels, and there was absolutely serviceable in terms of cleanliness (if you wear shower shoes), but just not comfortable. I was in an out as quickly as possible, and just used it to sleep and shower, and that was okay. But it was not a place I could easily be comfortable in. Hotel staff were friendly and nice.

The hallways are really warm. Our room was hot till approximately 4am. Way to hot to sleep. The a/c never turned off set at 70. The frig was warm too. Turned all the way down, my left overs spoiled. Then our room key didn't work. And you have to wait for a small elevator or go all the way to either emd to use stairs. There is 1 elevator, and its very small. The cleaner had to fight to get her cart out of it. I did voice my concerns at the desk when the key quit. My husband and i both had arms full of stuff, and had to stop, wait for the elevator, ring a bell and wait for help. Then get the key fixed. Wait again on an elevator. Walk the HOT hallway. Pick our atuff back up , and finally get into our room. The only thing the desk clerk said was I'm letting someone know your issues. And typed on his keyboard....we paid 232.00 for a 2 day, hot room, hot refrigerator, and non working keys...

When we walked in, the guy at the front desk was neatly kept. Our rooms were too humid and smelled. Maybe from shampooing the floor, or treatments? Needs steam cleaning. The towels were folded neatly and bathrooms seemed clean. The sheets seemed average, the matresses were functional (sheets reflect on the quality of a hotel). Some new out-of-nowhere bite marks, and wonder if there were some bugs... A faux leather chair at the table was peeling from over-use. I don't know how it had such a high rating, except that the staff were all nice.

Seemed like it could use some updating, especially when walking to our room on the second floor we see a 5 gallon bucket to collect the rain water. Aside from that, it was a good stay

Overall good

The front desk guy spoke 100 mph and was pretty rude he does not belong in that position. When I asked him to speak up and speak slower he acted really annoyed with me. Other than that the room was really nice, beds were comfortable, you can definitely hear the traffic outside. The breakfast was good

First room was horrible. It smelled like wet moldy dog. There was a dirty towel folded neatly on the sink and my daughter grabbed it to use. There was not enough towels and wash cloths for the amount of guest. Phone was disgusting and sticky. Mattresses bad no mattress covers over them and were stained. Asked for extra blankets for the foldout bed on the second night and it had holes in it.
