The room was great!! everyone was wonderful! What a cute little spot to stay!!! As a frequent business traveler it is a challenge, leaving my familiar city and heading into a new location. With apps and the Internet and all of our booking options… we have to make a choice of a living arrangement sight unseen. That is why these customer reviews hold such value for me. Not everyone is going to have the same experience or opinions but. The bottom line is this is a lovely spot and I would stay here again. Plenty of bang for your buck!

Loved being on Penn State’s pretty campus! Great to see students in the lobby studying and in the cafe. Decor was historic for a vintage feel: football, academia, books everywhere. Appreciated the renovation included historic blue and pretty tile on the bathroom floor, brass and gold fixtures and Nittany Lion doorknockers on every guest room door. Missed the chance to dine in either restaurant. I expected bathrobes in the room per the list of amenities but were not provided. Note that if you park in parking deck, get pass for every day from front desk - overnight stay means 2 days parking - paid extra to exit on day 2 not realizing that. All in all a special visit. We Are!!! TY!!

The facility did a wonderful job on the complete renovation to this property. The lobby looks spectacular and is warm and inviting. The bar was very nice. We weren't able to eat in the restaurant only because of timing, but would have loved to sample their menu. Our room was terrific and very clean.

Alamost everything was great. We were in Room 311. Our 2 issues were (1) the heating unit is incredibly loud whn running and when starting up. As you know, when it hits a temperature it shuts off. When it starts up again, really loud. We ended up shutting it off entirely. (2) there should be variety of pillows, some like it full and others, like is, like it flatter. The pillows for both os us were very uncomfortable because all of them were full. I give this feedback for improvement and not because we are mad. We would stay there again.
