Really. Really needs to be completely renovated ( or demolished & rebuilt). Exceedingly worn out . Room was filthy ( bedding & towels were clean though). Every time we entered or exited our room , it seemed, we were approached by a man asking for money. There a very few affordable options in Statesboro on football weekends , but I can’t believe how much we paid to stay at this hotel. Will say , staff was nice , but not enough to justify what we paid nor the poor quality of our room.

No go at the roach motel.

Our experience here was horrible. After booking a king room, we got there and were given the key to a room with two queens. When we opened the door to the queen room, we were greeted with unmade beds, full trash cans, and no idea if someone was actually in the room. We closed the door and went back to the front desk. The gentleman on duty went to check it out after we told him what had happened. He came back and told us he’d upgrade us to a king room, the room I had actually booked, and gave us two different room keys so we could pick which room we wanted. First room, first thing we saw was a roach just hanging out on the bed. Second room lights were on and after we looked, roaches under bed. Pretty sure we spotted bed bugs also. We went back to the front desk, told him we were leaving and wanted a refund. He was pleasant enough and helped us through that process. Strange thing was, he didn’t even seemed surprised at what we told him. Pictures on line were very deceptive. Would never book a room here again.

The room was absolutely horrible! The floors, walls, ceilings, sink, tub, lamps, phone, BEDS! were all disgusting. My sheets had stains! I’m leaving and going to take a shower elsewhere. This place shouldn’t even be allowed to be open for business.

Don’t Let The Photos Fool You

Door would not shut tight unless forced. Light in the bathroom went out. Front desk was called but never repaired. There was a leak at the bathroom sink. The mini fridge was off balance.

We did not feel like our room was very clean, the TV remote was not in the room & we couldn’t get someone to bring us a new one. The walls are very thin, the people in the room next to us were using normal, low voices & we Could hear their entire conversation. We will not be back.

My room was extremely dusty. Had to clean out the bathroom and room myself. I mean full clean, i scrubbed down the shower walls and tub until I couldn’t see any more dirt of dust. I replaced the shower curtain. My comforter was dusty, I replaced that with my own blanket. That room had not been swept or dusted. When I asked the cleaning crew to sweep they did a half job and replied “I’m just trying to get home”

Room was clean and recently renovated. Air conditioner was extremely noisy to the point where it would wake you up. For the value the room was just fine for a night's sleep. Hotel did not raise rates to crazy amounts during the weekend students were moving into their housing for the semester so this was appreciated.

Ok if you have to but probably best not

When we arrived, there was no one at the desk. I began to wonder if someone had just quit and walked out on their shift w/o letting anyone know. There was one other person ahead of us who was there for a while before we arrived. He was on the phone with the call center lettimg them know that no one was there. Then the clerk showedup. I dont know if he was there by himself and had to handle an issue or what. When he returned, he seemed to be a little overwhelmed but was nice. He never explained his reasoning. When we got in the room it was dim but appeared to be clean. We notice a lot of upgrades. It is an older building but had tiled showers, laminate flooring, and updated decor. We only dropped our thinvs, took a quick peak and headed back out. We were on a time crunch. We did notice the tv didnt turn on and advised the front desk. Told them we were leavimg and would be back very shortly and it was ok to check the tv. He was super nice and when we returned shortly, it was fixed. Come time to shower and turn in, we noticed the tub wasn't very clean. We also noticed a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. We decided we were leaving 1st thing in the AM and be home in a few hours, we shower at home and tough it out.
