First time staying here. We came to celebrate our anniversary and they had a wonderful romantic package that surprised my wife and definitely won me points. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, they definitely went above and beyond my expectations and we will be coming back soon. We enjoyed some excellent food and drinks at the River Rock Lounge. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Our room had a beautiful view, we enjoyed our experience here. Thank you for everything!

We have been staying at Skamania for over 15 years and have always enjoyed our stay. We recently stayed over New Year's Eve for my 51st birthday and were sadly not pleased with the pull-out sofa which was extremely uncomfortable and thin. We also ordered several desserts for my birthday through room service and ate in the family room only to discover that the $15 dollar desserts were extremely small and we even received a fruit dessert that we were charged for but never ordered. We will definitely be back to Skamania but the bed and desserts put a damper on the stay. Thank you, Elizabeth and William Wallace

Magical New Year in the tree house

Our recent stay at the hotel was nothing short of magical! We had the incredible opportunity to stay in one of their treehouses, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The cozy charm of the treehouse combined with the breathtaking views made us feel like we had stepped into a fairytale. As a family, we cherished every moment spent together—playing games by the warm glow of the fire, making s’mores, and simply soaking in the serene surroundings. The Christmas decorations were absolutely stunning, adding an extra layer of magic to the entire property. The light walk was a delightful adventure, with twinkling lights guiding us through what felt like an enchanted wonderland. Everything about our stay was perfect. The restaurants served delicious meals, the pool was a hit with everyone, and the service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and thoughtful in every way. We can’t recommend this hotel enough, especially the treehouse experience. It’s a one-of-a-kind stay that will leave you with cherished memories. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and book a stay—you won’t regret it!

This used to be a lovely higher end place to stay. It’s gone downhill and may not be recoverable. They are understaffed. They’ve added cabins, glamping, and treehouses so those I imagine are in better shape than the lodge, but the lodge is in need of updating. Dirty and worn. Plus adding new accommodations but no new or expanded dining causes delays. We waited for 30 min for our dinner reservation to be ready, then it took 1.5 hours to finish our meal after receiving everything.
