Set in a gorgeous, historic area. Staff in office was very welcoming. We stayed in the motor lodges on the back of the property. The location was great, as we had our small dog with us and we had plenty of room to walk her. But, the rooms were very old. The carpet was nasty, we had to pay for using a tiny fridge, no microwave, and the front door step was rotted and you could see out with the door closed. We had black ants getting in and climbing around on the walls. The 1st fridge they rented to us smelled like a dead animal. We had them deliver one which was better. I recommend for location, but would not recommend the cheaper rooms in the lodge. Your $ could be better served at a discount hotel/motel.

This was a grwat place to meet family. We had adjoining rooms and stayed with our dogs. Everything was perfect for them. It would be great to have a refrigerator in every room. We had one for the two rooms.

I love staying at the Publick Inn. Besides the cleanliness of the rooms, the ambience filled restaurant and pub, the gorgeous breakfast pastries (included), there are gorgeous grounds surrounding the inn. And they are pet friendly!

Quick and easy check-in. Friendly and polite service. Clean rooms with comfortable accommodations. Perfect place to stay with a pet. Ate in the tavern which was a mistake for a Friday night. If you're looking for a party, it is the place to be. We should have gone to the dining room. The food was delicious. Overall, it was a clean, comfortable place to stay.
