Pylewell Annex is a one-bedroom self-catering flat on a small Gower farm, 1.5 miles from Rhossili Bay and about five minutes by car. It is a quiet, practical base for the beach, walking, cycling, and exploring Gower with one well-behaved dog. Rhossili Bay was named the UK's No.1 dog-friendly beach by The Times.
The flat has its own entrance, private parking, and a private patio with table and chairs. It is set up for two adults and can also accommodate a child.
Inside
Ground-floor living, one short step up to the entrance, and no stairs inside. Log burner with starter logs and kindling, fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, walk-in shower, Smart TV with Freeview, and free WiFi. A welcome bottle of wine and chocolates or biscuits are provided on arrival.
For Dogs
One well-behaved dog is welcome. A bowl, towel, treats, poo bags, and an outside tap are provided for sandy paws.
Walking and Cycling
Local footpaths cross the fields around the property. The Wales Coast Path is about 15 minutes away on foot. Secure bike storage and drying space are available.
Your Host
Steve lives in the main house the flat is attached to and welcomes every guest in person on arrival. He can help with local walks, beaches, pubs, and directions. His family has been in Gower for generations, and he has lived here all his life.
Good to Know
Pylewell Annex is Visit Wales four-star rated and holds Walkers Welcome and Cyclists Welcome accreditations. It is open March to November.
Minimum stay is 7 nights with Saturday changeover from May to September, and 3 nights in March, April, October, and November.
