My car got broken into in the parking lot. I am still giving 5 stars as the manager was so sweet and even sent me a text of the security footage the next day. Plus they comped the parking fee. They were so apologetic and kept in contact with me and helped call the cops to investigate. I was very fortunate I had nothing of any value in the car. The hotel itself is so nice and clean. There are cameras everywhere in the parking lot. Just do not keep anything of value in your car anywhere in Tallahassee as the cops told me this is a problem in general in the area.

I stayed here for a week. It is a walkable distance from FAMU and there are several nearby shops and food locations. The hotel appears new and was very clean. They have very comfortable beds and soft fluffy pillow ensuring a restful sleep. Unfortunately, there were few parking spots. If they are fully booked it will be an issue. The breakfast was edible. Frozen waffles and bagels were served most days. Valerie from they're kitchen staff, was very accommodating and friendly. She made sure I had everything I needed to make the most of my breakfast. There was quite a bit of construction near the hotel. So there was some noise from that during the day. I enjoy working out and the facility has a gym. I was a little upset that they're towel rack in the gym was empty 3 of my 5 day stay. I mentioned it to the front desk staff the first day I noticed and nothing was done about it. Complaint resolution will be a toss up.

Both property and room not clean and the area around is not very safe so you have to use your room key almost all the TJ e to get in the main building. AC not working in gym, no water in the gym, and no towels or way to sanitize workout area. Breakfast used paper plates which probably was a good thing bc silverware and bowls were not clean. No one ever wiped down tables in between people sitting and had to share condiments with other tables. My room had multiple issues with cleanliness and things not working. Bathroom slider wouldn’t move so couldn’t close door, toilet paper holder bent so toilet paper kept Falling on the floor, huge microwave on counter bc the one installed in the kitchen didn’t work, closet had horrible smell that I tried to air out but didn’t work so couldn’t use closet, dishes in the kitchen not clean, creamer for coffee soiled, hair in the shower, sticky stuff in kitchen floor, services very dusty, window sills had dead bugs and hair and the list goes on.
