I have stayed at the El Pueblo Lodge several times. The complaint I have this time is that the cleaning fluid smell in my room was overpowering. I stayed 3 nights and only by the last night did the smell subside. My fault for not asking for a different room. The Lodge has good breakfasts and is a generally nice and well-maintained older property.

Clean huge rooms with awesome outdoor picnic barbecue. The rooms need extensive remodeling, would have been awesome about 1970... Super staff, but need extensive upgrading/improvements for the price. TV LCD was broken the room smelled a little of mold (we stayed in the 2 story building so I am not sure what any of the other building are like.. Other options in TAOS for the price are much better. We had to try it since we return to TAOS often to know what it was like. Won't stay again tho... Super friendly staff, very kind people.

El Pueblo Lodge is one of, if not the best lodge experience I have ever had! We booked this place just to have a place to stay after skiing at Angel Fire but we are already talking about wanting to come back and spend more time here, The rooms are large and the property has so much for guests to enjoy from patios and corn hole to fire pits. The breakfast was AMAZING and truly the highlight of our stay. Staff was so warm and welcoming. We already can't wait to come back!

I loved the nod to to the pueblo dwellings on the exterior and New Mexican accents on the interiors. We were there just after New Year's and the holiday lights added a nice twinkle.The welcome cookies and chips/salsa were a pleasant surprise, as was the full breakfast offerings of Mexican food and baked goods. The hot tub, which we used under the stars, was a highlight! Staff were friendly and good at their jobs.This was one of my best Expedia lodging finds! Thank you!
