Our stay at Broken Spur was wonderful. After a long day of driving through snowy conditions, we were delighted to find a restaurant on-site and a cozy bed to rest in. The only suggestion I have is to provide an option for pillows. The pillows in the room were hard and flat, making me feel like I was sleeping on a cowboy’s saddle. Despite this minor inconvenience, we had a very pleasant stay.

We stayed in the wagons. They have heaters and AC. It was a very cold night outside so it was still cold in our wagon, but the kids still loved it. The private bathrooms were convenient and cleaned daily.

What a unique experience! I stayed in one of the “glamping” style covered wagons. It was clean and well maintained, surprisingly quiet, and was easily able to do laundry on site. Will stay again!

Broken Spur Inn & Steakhouse It’s conveniently located from Capitol Reef national Park. The on-site restaurant was fantastic — we really enjoyed the meals, and breakfast was included with our stay, which was a great bonus. The only small downside was the room curtains didn’t completely block out the morning light, so it got bright early — not ideal when you want to sleep in. Still, that was a very minor issue and wouldn’t stop us from staying here again. The location, convenience, and overall comfort far outweigh that little inconvenience.

I stayed in a room rather than a wagon. Unfortunately the rooms have thin walls where I could here the people next door in coversation and then snoring shortly after. The fan/heater in the room was fairly loud when it kicked on and spunded like it could use some maintenance. The steakhouse was good for dinner.

Nice hotel on the way to Capitol reef. Restaurants good, breakfast is good. They have a pool and my only complaint was that the hot tub wasn’t hot enough.

A Diamond in the Rough

Torry Utah, is really a spot out in 'nowhere', but the hotel was absolutely wonderful, nice views, nice people and the room was perfect, all was good. Having a steakhouse connected to the hotel was a plus, we ate there several times, it was good.
