We stay at Sugar Beach or Grand Beach every year when we come for the soccer tournament. It is clean, we love the pool and beach, and love going to play putt putt across the road.

The location was great & had a really pretty beach view/area. Our room was mediocre. The mini fridge was leaking the entire time & our TV kept turning on throughout the night... Very disruptive. The packaged breakfast was nice. They only upkeep the rings every 3rd night which isn't ideal but were quick to bring us more towels. The price was WAY too high for what we received. We love Traverse City but will look for different accommodations next visit.

We got a room on the first floor with patio. Wonderful view from patio/window and exit to the beach. Chairs/towels are available. We rented a boat next to the hotel. Nice experience. Hotel offers free breakfast, but it is not worth it, better to go to the local restaurants which are a lot around the hotel. Clean, quiet hotel (furniture are bit outdated).

They need to clean more the rooms from spider wipes n update the bathrooms. The staff 0 proficiency we ask for towels, they didn’t even bother knocking on the door. They put them on the floor. No one would use a towel that was laying on the floor in general was so poor even though was prepacked we thought would be a worm meal.each staff tells u something deferent for 2nights it was kind Confusing.
