We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location is absolutely phenomenal, making it incredibly easy to get around and explore the area. One of the biggest highlights was the amazing view; we spent a significant amount of time just taking it in from the unit.The building amenities are great and added a lot of value to our trip. However, there is some room for improvement within the unit itself. Some areas are beginning to show their age and could use updating, particularly the carpet in the smaller bedroom. We also found that some of the basic supplies were lacking, so you may want to bring along a few of your own essentials.Overall, the location and scenery are hard to beat, and with a few minor interior refreshes, this place would be a perfect ten!

Great location in the complex. Right by walkway to the beach. Wonderful views of ocean from the balcony which is very long and can access from family room and main bedroom. Very nice unit with everything you need. Host was quick to respond to questions 2 pools and a baby pool. Lots of seating and nice bathrooms. Would rent again if visiting the island

Great communication. We had some issues come up, but the host was quick to fix them and even had a handyman come during the holiday weekend to make everything right. They saved what could have been a disaster. The location is great, with a wonderful view and a quick walk to the beach. It's quieter up on the north side of Tybee and we appreciate that, but it's great to also have the pool if you don't want to get sandy and want to be more social.

Listing is a little deceptive as renovations are not recent and the listing photos are pretty dated compared to the current state. Overall, it needed a thorough deep clean as it was pretty dirty overall. There were toenail clippings on the deck, the ceiling around the vents is dusty, the carpet in the bedroom and the bathroom floor was very dirty. The view from the balcony is fantastic and the unit has a new washer/dryer and a new Keurig. It was a very quiet stay and Elise was very responsive and helpful. Would recommend for a quiet and relaxing stay on North Beach!

The only thing I can say bad is they did not leave tissue until the day after we checked in, so we had to buy some, overall, this is a very nice place and will probably book again in the future.

Secluded and Quiet

This was the perfect location for our family. We loved that the unit was on the ocean with great views from the balcony and the beach was not crowded at all. The condo was clean and the pools were nice. Very convenient to Savanah and the area did not feel very touristy. It was close to the lighthouse and provided a great location for shell hunting. Our only complaint is the television. It rained at some point every single day we were there and when we would try to watch a movie together the cable would freeze or stop all together. We couldn't get through a single show which was a bit annoying. That was minor and we really enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

Great experience!

After reading reviews about cleanliness, we were a little apprehensive about the unit. However, the condo was very clean and well kept! Elle was very easy to communicate with and provided a lot of helpful information before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

first impression when I get there small bad, a lot of dust over the furnitures, they leave flowers on the dinning table no fresh , they were dead and looked terrible. huge list of the owner thing to be done by guest , leave clean and remove all trash not only put the trash together but take it outside far way from apartment at the dumpster. couch and blankets feel wet and dirty. smelling bad , this was our worse experience.

Great location but needs some TLC

Nice location with a view of the beach. We really enjoyed watching the cargo ships go by on the Savannah River to the ocean. The beach is large with lots of wildlife and shells to enjoy. Instructions for getting into the condo complex were a little bit confusing since we had never stayed on Tybee before. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a front door covered with mold and cobwebs. As other reviewers mentioned, this condo seemed like it had not been cleaned in quite a while. Instead of feeling relaxed and “at home”, we were concerned that nothing was really clean including sheets, bedding, towels and dishes even though they looked ok. Throughout, baseboards were covered with dust and grime and all walls needed to be wiped down and painted. We actually cleaned a few areas ourselves. Bathrooms had mold in the shower, sink & tub drains were slow to drain, toilet seats and shower curtain liners needed replacing. Kitchen drawer and cabinet insides were dirty. The kitchen was also not well stocked. There were only 4 spoons and not enough cooking equipment to prepare a meal. As noted by another reviewer, the kitchen chalkboard says there are complimentary water bottles in the refrigerator but there were none. In addition, the one load of laundry we did took 3 hours just for the washing machine to complete its cycle and water leaked all over the kitchen floor which we had to clean up. Obviously, this has happened in the past because the floor was damaged in the area near the washing machine. When we tried to watch TV, the internet was not strong enough to let us stream except in 10 second intervals. There were also outlets that were broken with wires exposed and coming out of the wall in several places which my husband felt was very unsafe. As another reviewer mentioned the patio door did not lock in the master bedroom. This could be a really nice rental, but it needs some TLC.

Great View

The short video made it easy to check in. The condo was clean and ready. I entered the door key pad code several times with no response from the lock. I started to get a little excited but just then the neighbor stepped out to help. As it turns out, after entering the code you have to push the key with the check mark. It worked. The view from the balcony was exceptional. It was quiet and relaxing. I enjoyed walking on the beach, the sand was a litter firmer than Destin and I prefer it. There are no restrooms along the beach so don’t go too far or drink too much.

There was a chalkboard in the kitchen that said drinks in fridge for occupants. Nothing in fridge. We had to plug in all tv’s and that’s when we found so much dirt and dust! The place was not very clean. Then we had to be a genius practically in order to even watch television. We were told to strip the beds and put the sheets in the washer. Also told to put used dishes in the dishwasher. Several of the electrical outlets looked pretty dangerous. Definitely need to be repaired. Some of the lights do not work. The sliding doors in the bedroom would not lock. We paid a cleaning fee and we did most of what a cleaning person should do. I can tell you this was the worst VRBO we have ever stayed in!

Once we were settled in the stay was good. I was notified that the gate and condo code would be emailed to me on day of arrival but it was not. We showed up from a 14 hour drive and and 90 degree weather with rain while having to sit outside that property wait for key codes. I called owners number 5 times before getting a answer. She say she texted the codes to me on my home phone number which is a land line. I was told it would be by email which it wasn't. So it turned out to be a disaster to the start of vacation. If the codes had been emailed like they were supposed to be things would have been much different.

Relaxing Vacation

Cute decor, comfortable beds, owner furnished coffee, water and bottle of wine. She text me on day arrival to let me know that we could get in early without having to ask. Great view! There are several stairs. I would stay here again.

Just what we wanted!

Our first time staying on Tybee and we thoroughly enjoyed our off season visit. We really liked the location of this unit (the north end), the views, the great walks along the beach and around the neighborhood. The condo was as described and comfortable. The owner was excellent to interact with - responsive, helpful and kind and she provided some really great recommendations on restaurants and fish markets. We hope to visit this unit again!
