I think the hotel could use some updating. The hallways & rooms are too dark & dreary. The carpet needs to be changed. The bed was very comfortable.

No stopper in the sink. No stopper in the tub. Fan motor in the bathroom ran constantly, no way to shut it off. Was awakened at 2am by a couple yelling at each other in the hallway but couldn’t call the front desk because there was no working phone in the room. Tried to use the chair at the desk and almost fell out of the chair because one of the wheels fell off. Light on nightstand was not plugged in. Had to pull nightstand away from the wall to plug it in. The lamp became a flickering strobe light when put on the brightest setting.

When I booked the room, the website showed a picture of a pool with a hot tub. When I got to the hotel, there was no hot tub. It had been filled in with cement. When I asked the lady at the front desk about it, she said that that was an old picture and if I had read the amenities, I would have known that there was no hot tub. I felt like it was bait and switch. You showed me a picture of a pool with a hot tub and yet when we got there there was no hot tub. That was one of the criteria I had when I was trying to book a hotel in tyler. Will not stay there again. I don't like to be tricked

Best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel- yogurt, fresh fruit/berries, cottage cheese, oatmeal bar, eggs bacon etc. even had a fountain drink machine with cokes! Room was gorgeous and so comfy. Only complaint was the water wasn’t very hot in the bath/shower

Nice place overall. The lady at the front desk was the friendliest I have ever encountered at a hotel. She was professional, courteous, and really seemed to like her job. Breakfast was good.
