The Amanzi is a nice hotel when visiting Ventura, because of it's central location, but the bed and pillows are pretty tough.

We stayed for one night to see a show at the Ventura Theater. It was very nice overall. Large rooms and very comfortable beds. One of our rooms was next to the laundry room so it was noisy during the daytime hours but fine overnight.

Very nice and clean Hotel. But most of all, the attentive staff is excellent! ( I hope their supervisors see this) From the front counter to our housekeeper, They all greeted us cheerfully and were very helpful.

I booked the multi-room suite, which was spacious and well-maintained. However, I was not informed that the suite was located near Ventura Hwy 101 and the train tracks. The constant noise from highway traffic and passing trains, including frequent horns, made it challenging to sleep. I ultimately had to move to the quieter room within the suite. Additionally, the air conditioning emitted an odor resembling urine, which was unpleasant. That said, I do want to note that the property overall, as well as the suite, was very clean.
