We had a hard time finding a simple cup of ice. Also no lotion in the room, instead had one small container of conditioner beside the sink while there was already conditioner in the shower…seemed random. Mold in areas of the shower, and it leaked out if a seam onto the bathroom floor soaking the mat.

Clean and spacious

Amazing room, clean and spacious, the beds were made each day, free coffee maker and refrigerator. The self service washing machine and dryer was very useful. The hotel was well situated for East Main Street, Botanical Gardens and the beaches. There were parking spaces. The morning breakfastsvwere tasty.

We got to the hotel in the early morning intending to leave our luggage so we can roam around without having to worry, luckily enough the front desk staff Gabriel was able to check us in earlier than expected! Our room was nice and clean, the balcony was fully covered but after a few hours it made sense why, we were facing the freeway and it does tend to get really loud. Breakfast was great, simple options, eggs, bacon, sausage etc. TV channel selections were more than what you’d get at any luxury hotel. Shampoo and conditioner along with body wash was provided in case you forget your own supply. Beds were comfortable, pillows were also comfortable. AC units were working perfectly. We had a view of Ventura pier so that was a plus. Elevator is quick and goes from top floor down to the garage, the area is safe and walkable eateries. Weekends seem to be more lively there in that area, live bands, etc. 101 Fwy entrances are just outside the hotel (literally). Would absolutely book this place again!

A Great Place To Stay!

This is my favorite hotel in Ventura. They consistently deliver clean comfortable rooms at reasonable prices. The water facing rooms do experience a lot of road noise, so if that bothers you, ask for a city view room. The location is superior! Lots of shops, restaurants and bistros within an easy walk.

Easy breezy stay

Fantastic, low-key spot within walking distance to the beach, downtown and plenty of restaurants. Flying into LAX is stressful enough, so our stay here was a breathe of fresh air, especially with how patient and accommodating the staff are. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet (no thin walls). Our overall stay was quite peaceful. I would recommend staying if there's space available.

Great location with a slight ocean view from the second floor. Conveniently located across from the pier and promenade. Next to the train tracks, but insulated enough that the trains did not wake me through the night. Great offerings of evening snacks and one of the best free hotel breakfasts I have had. Staff was friendly. Bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay at again.

The rooms are clean and most of the staff are wonderful. It was exceptionally expensive for what is offered though. They've changed a lot of things for the worst and prices keep going up. It would be nice if they invested in some sound proofing to dampen some of the excessive noise from rude guests.
