This was a great little place! It looks like they're updating everything. I say "looks like" because our room looked like it was being painted, the smoke detector was missing, and the lampshade wasn't quite the right size, but it was a busy weekend so they put it in service. In spite of being not quite done, it was clean, the beds were great, it was quiet and the front desk staff was really nice! I'll totally stay here again!

Is a well run motel with clean rooms & helpful staff. Oil industry truck traffic at night makes it noisey but you can wear ear plugs. Swain's Steak House 1 block away. Very good food/drink for reasonable price.

We ended up checking out without staying the night, due to some external circumstances. But the room didn't really match the photos in the description, and the quality did not match the ratings given.

Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend I stayed at the Sage Motel expecting a comfortable night, but unfortunately, it was anything but. The AC unit was on all night but never actually cooled the room—it just made a loud, constant noise that made it hard to sleep. The toilet was leaking, which added to the discomfort. The motel is advertised as recently remodeled, but that claim is questionable at best. The room felt outdated and poorly maintained. As for the "free breakfast," it was minimal—just some pastries, yogurt, fruit, and juice. Definitely not what I would consider a proper breakfast. Overall, this stay was a letdown. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless some serious improvements are made.

So far so good! Just checked in a few hours ago, but the staff was super friendly, switching rooms so mine could be near my friend’s. The bed is comfy and the room is nice and fairly priced. The hotel is right near /in downtown, so it’s nice to be close to a lot of dining and entertainment and shopping options.

The room was very clean even though it is an older motel. The staff were excellent in meeting our needs. We had to have staff come help with the tv as there was not a remote to turn it on.
