Driftwood Loft - Seal Rock

Driftwood Loft is secluded and cozy, perfect for that romantic get-a-way. Located at the end of a dead end street, this one bedroom with a queen bed, one bath, has the most spectacular views of Driftwood Beach and north Seal Rock. Enjoy watching the Winter storms and high coastal tides from the safe vantage point and comfort of Driftwood Loft. Many types of local and migratory marine birds as well as harbor seals, and whales, during their migration seasons, can be easily seen from this home. Direct beach access from a path in front of the home, although somewhat steep. (Hand rope is provided for your safety). Fully stocked kitchen with eating space at the table and bar, all appliances including washer and dryer. TV/DVD in living room which also has a queen sleeper sofa. Bedroom also has a TV and has views from the north facing window of the ocean below. Convenient parking in garage.

Lovely and private with gorgeous ocean views. So many places to visit in the area. The added electric fireplace is a nice touch. I appreciate the telescope! Watched a bald eagle and its fledgling down on the beach and sea lions playing in the water. Super clean and well cared for home. Only suggestions I could come up with is to consider replacing the shower curtain as it’s hard to move where the hooks fall off. Kitchen spatulas should be replaced. I’ll be back. Can’t wait to plan my next trip!

Beautiful beach

We stayed here and enjoyed the smartly appointed furniture and decorations. This was the perfect size for a couple. The beach access was great. Just be careful on the trail to the ocean, it’s slippery when wet. Fun shell hunting to the north.

Entering this beach house was just like walking into a lovely private home, with tasteful art and furnishings, a well equipped kitchen, and a personal library worth an extended stay in it's own right. Everything was immaculate. The only design flaw was a less than perfect window over the ocean, with a television and a wall residing in the corner that would have provided the best sitting view of the beach and surf.

Amazing views and location!

My daughter and I took a quick adventure to the Oregon Coast. The home sits on a private lane and offers amazing views and direct access to the beach. The trail to the beach is a bit rough, but convenient. Home was super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay!

40th anniversary getaway

Been coming to the Coast almost every year for previous family Vacations which included Anniversary celebrations and this VRBO rental was the best place we've been to! Only my spouse and I this time but we'll be back with our 2 sons next time, they love coming to the coast as well. Thanks for a wonderful memory!

Perfect

We have been coming to this part of the Oregon coast once a year for over 20 years. Usually with family in tow. This year we decided to make it our wedding anniversary trip with just me and my husband. The property was perfect! We ranked it in our top 3 properties we've stayed in. The beach access is easier that other reviewers noted and it's great that you can walk north to Seal Rock or south to Waldport. Whales weren't as plentiful as we've had, but we saw some. We will definately look at this property for future trips.

AMAZING!

This beach house was simply AMAZING! We practically had the entire beach to ourselves. We saw seal, eagles, did some rockhounding, has amazing sunsets, amazing arcus clouds. It was clean, well equipped and quiet. The ideal spot to spend our anniversary. 12 days wasn't enough. We will definitely be back!

House is way off the road and right on a very deserted stretch of beach. Super tight little house. Wrap around windows to west and north. Bed very comfortable. Kitchen well appointed. We took our Apple TV and it was a fool proof hook up process. It is a find.

Just what we needed

We loved staying at this house. The location was perfect. Right on the beach with amazing views. The private access to the beach was slightly steep but very manageable. The house had everything needed and the bed was comfy. We didn't want to leave.

What a wonderful getaway for two. Gorgeous ocean views and totally private. Easy access to beach for walks and gorgeous sunsets. House has everything you need to bring your own food and stay in. Will definitely be back.

Wonderful regular getaway

This was our second time staying in the cottage. The privacy is wonderful and the downstairs deck area is useful. We used it and the hose to clean off our wetsuits and body boards. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and implements. We love the easy beach access although it was a little overgrown this time around. A quick trim with some garden clippers will do the trick. We love Driftwood Beach and look forward to returning!
