Location is super convenient to Union Station. Rooms are quiet (even rooms overlooking the street) and have a clean, comfortable, and cozy feel. Staff is friendly and there's a nice pub. Enjoyed the coffee/hot chocolate machine on the 2nd floor. Lovely spot to stay in DC!

The hotel's location across the street from Union Station was extremely convenient. The room was very clean and comfortable. The darkening shades do not keep all the light out around the edges, which is an issue if you like a really dark room. There are no curtains to block this light. The bathroom was clean and well-supplied. It would have been better if there was an exhaust fan. Finally, it would be more honest and direct if the $30 "facilities fee" was included in the advertised room rate, rather than tucked away in the fine print. The only extra "facility" is the fitness room, which is standard at most hotels, so I don't see why this extra fee is even necessary.

Our 1st room had a big ol cockroach in the shower upon arrival. They promptly switched our room and upgraded slightly. The 2nd room was still kind of dirty, you could tell it wasnt swept, bathroom had wrappers. Yhe whole hotel had anstring odor of an old fishy grease trap, which isnprobably from the restaurant but you can smell it through the whole place. Not too pleasant. The staff was lovely though! Nice location!
