Do not go here

The hotel had bugs, especially a lot of spiders. The room looks like whoever before us had literally had a UFC fight in it- there were so many “handyman repairs.” On this app it stated there were two queen beds when in fact they were full size beds.

Loved our stay at The Vue. It was walkable distance to the main shopping are through the riverwalk. The river views were amazing. Breakfast at the Boathouse was great. Didn’t get a chance to use the pool but it looked nice. Absolutely loved that this property came with tickets to the Natura Waterpark, and Timbavati wildlife park.

Loud mouth drunk paradise.

Party hotel. A big group stayed at the hotel in multiple rooms. After midnight on Friday and Saturday night the group came back to the hotel drunk and kept the party going in the hotel hallway. The group was so loud you could hear them coming up the elevator. Staff only did something when a complaint was made. The staff should have said something to them the moment these loud mouths entered the hotel and traveled threw the lobby. The room door did nothing to stop sound traveling into the room. Not that it mattered as the drunks proceeded to slam doors and bang on walls and they moved room to room. I did not get much sleep the two nights I stayed here. Basically ruined my weekend vacation for me. To top that off the hotel charged me an additional $89 free that was not on the original hotels.com price. And threaten to cancel my stay when I question it. I regret not letting them just cancel it.

🚫 AVOID THIS HOTEL – FILTHY, UNSAFE, AND DISHONEST We arrived to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and were given a room that was absolutely filthy—bugs, stains, bad odor, and a leaking tub. We reported it right away, and even contacted Expedia. The hotel now claims we said nothing—a complete lie. They moved us to another room just as dirty. Even my 10-year-old had to explain to staff how unsanitary it was. That night, police were outside, and we were told we’d only get a refund if we left immediately—at midnight. We checked out that same day and booked another hotel. They offered a gift card to a place we’d never stay at again instead of owning up to the conditions. Now they’re denying everything. This review is to warn others—don’t trust the photos, and don’t risk your family’s safety.

We stayed across the street at the VUE motel because it was significantly cheaper than the VUE boutique hotel. Our room was in rough condition, had a tiny stuffy bathroom, and was very sketchy. We could hear the people above us stomping from 6 am onward each morning and with only one A/C unit we were thankful we were there on cooler days or it would have been very unbearable. However, the “perks” were amazing with our stay. The wildlife park, Natura inflatable park, pools, beaches, and suspension bridge that was included saved us a lot of money and kept our family entertained. Additionally the hotel is in a convenient location and we were able to get around the Dells easily.

Great stay at reasonable price

Location is very convenient. Comfortable stay. Front desk person (Cindy?) is pretty unpleasant; I remember her from a previous stay. Obviously not a deterrent for our staying, but I feel sorry for the people who have to work with her.

We stayed in the older part and the rooms were ok. The website is deceiving as other than a small pool, all the other attractions are a 5-15 min drive. Our room had a small wall AC unit which was ok. This was an adventure and will most likely not stay here again.
