Staff was helpful with an altercation experienced, but not so much when we requested more breakfast food be put out. At 9:30 there was no hot food left and we were told it was too late to put more out. We had parents and players of our lacrosse team that didn’t get much of anything to eat.

Everything was good except breakfast

The hotel is a nice hotel. The bathroom was clean and they provided high quality soaps, shampoos etc. the beds were decent and we both slept well on them. The room was clean and had quality modern furniture. All the staff we interacted with was friendly, helpful and professional. There was no traffic noise or any other noise to interrupt our sleep. The location and hotel seemed very safe. They are close by to many different types of restaurants for a quick meal if needed. As is more and more common, the cable channels were minimal and forced us to stream on our devices. Breakfast was not great at all. There protein options were in need of some reworking. They had waffles and fruit and sugary cereal and yogurt, but if you don’t want to end up with a sugar crash, you will need to look elsewhere for protein that you would want to eat. They tried making fried potatoes, but when you stick them in a chafing dish heated by water, it just left them a mushy mess. On the upside the coffee was about as good as I have had in a hotel. We would stay again, but be prepared to eat breakfast elsewhere.

The hotel was fine, but at the time there was a youth hockey team Staying at the hotel who were running around and being loud. At one point I went into the hallway to see what was going on and they were actually playing hockey with their sticks in the hallway, which the parents thought was ok. Due to this, our stay was not as relaxing as we had hoped.

I always try to book Hampton Inn when we travel. They are clean with friendly staff and close to dining options. The free breakfast is also great with many different options. We often travel with our dogs, and they are pet friendly, for a fee.
