Hotel itself was great, very clean and staff very helpful. Luggage drop was very useful as we arrived at 8am as were going to F1. Very conveniently located close to the train station. With plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, you never had to walk far! Only downside was the room. In general it was good. We literally only used the room for sleeping and the bathroom as were out all weekend at the F1 so in that sense, it was a great room. However, our toilet door was broken and wouldn’t lock unless someone on the other side pushed the door in and then the person in the toilet could then lock it. Hopefully that gets fixed. Air conditioner also leaked a lot when in use, even after staff fixed it. Overall though, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for stays in Amsterdam

We have just left after having a great 2 nights in the hotel. It was in the perfect position for a quick sightseeing trip, in walking distance to everything we wanted to see. I was really worried after reading negative reviews on cleanliness size of room etc. we had a family room which was spotlessly clean and plenty big enough. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. This really is the perfect location for exploring the city. Parking opposite q park is expensive but handy. No discount offered by hotel as external company. We paid for breakfast and I think if I stayed again wouldn’t have added this on as was very limited/basic but still very good quality and clean restaurant just not what we are used to as a family. There are plenty of breakfast options on your doorstep out side and around d the hotel. Overall I was very impressed and would definitely stay again if in the area.

The property is dated. There was a heat wave during our stay. The lobby has no air conditioning, so it was very hot during our check-in. My room has two levels, with beds on both the main floor and the attic. There is only one heat pump on the main floor, so the attic was too hot for use.

Good location but needs some TLC

Arrived early in the hope our room was ready but as it was not we went for a lovely walk in the city centre. Unfortunately when we got back at 3pm our room was not ready until 3.30pm. Room was basic, no fridge and bathroom not very clean. The shower tiles had mould both inside and at the base outside. Location to attractions was good however quite noisey.

Spacious Rooms & Great Location

I read the reviews before booking. Great location, spacious room (not tiny like many hotels in Amsterdam) and friendly staff. Our bathtub leaked a little water, but they just gave us a lot of towels so it’s not wet everywhere. I will try to choose this hotel for my seventh time in Amsterdam.

DISAPPOINTED IN AMSTERDAM

Few amenties, such as fridge, phone, bathroom hygiene items (only body wash and shampoo). Had clogged shower drain that allowed water to flood bathroom floor (repaired promotly the next day but left gobb of clogged hair on the floor) no ice machine, breakfast not included unless pay 20 Euros or 15 Euros if puchases 24 hrs in advance and would not reduce to 15 Euros if neglected to reserve). Considered this hotel ovepriced at about $160 plus $10 city tax.per night. Only better feature was nearness to the Central Train Station 6 -7 minute walk with luggage). Would look.for better if have to pay so much for not much.

Extremely expensive for a hotel that is in disrepair and sorely needs renovation. You will be paying for the location (which is really convenient to the train station). The staff are generally nice and helpful with storing bags.

Location is fantastic. 7 min walk from the train station (easiest access to the airport). Property is in the best area of town with tons of things to do including dinning and shopping. The hotel is dated but the room is clean and the bed is comfortable. Hôtels in Amsterdam are expensive in general. Breakfast is ok. Nothing special. It has scrambled eggs but no fruits (fruits from the can only). Check-in is 24hrs unlike bunch of hotels in the area that end it before midnight (I arrived at night). Checkout is 11am (possibility for late checkout but for 10 euros per hour). They held our suitcases after the checkout (they also do it for early check ins).

Staff was very friendly, very close to main attractions. Excellent location. Areas of improvement: when turning the shower on, the water runs all over the bathroom’s floor as there is no division between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, so it’s a complete mess, even if you are careful. Also, in order for the power outlets to work, you must have the bathroom’s light on, otherwise they don’t work, so I had to sleep with the light on, otherwise my devices wouldn’t charge.

Nice place to stay in the heart of Amsterdam

Employees were great. Rooms were pretty clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was that the show stall was missing a door and the bathroom got completely soaked when we would shower. Also, the showers were confusing and when I tried to adjust the temperature, it was scalding hot and burned my skin.
