People at the front desk were extremely nice and resourceful. The location was super convenient. The only thing is that we could hear what’s going on in the hallway. Other guests walking, trying to open their door or chatting. Other than that, we had a pretty good stay.

⭐️ Hotel De Looier – Honest Review (Amsterdam) I stayed at Hotel De Looier in Amsterdam and here’s my honest take. The location is definitely the highlight — tucked in a quiet street in the Jordaan area, it’s walking distance to shops, cafés, and the canal views we all love. It’s easy to get around and perfect for a solo traveler who likes to wander with no set itinerary. The room itself was simple, clean, and cozy, but definitely on the smaller side (typical for Amsterdam). If you’re looking for luxury, this isn’t it — but if you want somewhere safe, central, and convenient, it gets the job done. The staff was friendly and check-in was fast. A few things to know: the walls are a bit thin, so you may hear hallway noise. Also, the building is older, so expect Amsterdam charm, not modern upgrades. Overall, a solid budget-friendly stay in an excellent neighborhood. I’d stay again for the location alone. Great for solo travelers who want comfort, walkability, and a cozy home base between exploring.

I stayed here with my 12 yo and 19 yo daughters for 3 nights. I thought it was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, staff was friendly, good location. Eco conscious if that is important to you. We were all comfortable in our own twin beds. We did not eat there so I can't comment on anything other than our experience sleeping there. It was a perfect landing pad

Clean and comfortable at a reasonable price, Hotel de Looier is located within walking distance of everything we wanted to do while in Amsterdam. All staff members we encountered were friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again and can definitely recommend!

There was very easy access to the hotel from Schiphol airport using bus 937 that had a stop very close to the hotel. The hotel staff was at all times welcoming and cordial during our stay. We arrived during the early morning, and our luggage was stored until check in time. Our room was comfortable and impeccably clean. The breakfast room was also welcoming, and the breakfast offered a variety of options. The hotel boasts an overall cozy atmosphere, and the location in the Jordaan district is fabulous.
