The property is clean and well managed. They do a nice job with the breakfast. The location is very convenient but the street it’s located on is quite busy. The canal it sits on is not very nice either. Overall I enjoyed the hotel and do recommend it.

Fantastic hotel

Monet garden was fantastic from arrival to departure. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and offered my friend an I a drink and we were able to check in early as our room was ready! The lady that checked us in gave us loads of tips of the best places to visit and showed us where all the different places were on the map which helped us navigate and plan our weekend! Our room was lovely very clean and nice decor and my friend loved the coffee machine. The view from our room was of the hotel next door which wasn’t great but we didn’t spend much time in the hotel during the day so it wasn’t a big issue. We had prepaid for breakfast and it was well worth it there was so much choice and it all tasted delicious and fresh! I loved the fresh orange juice. Everywhere in the hotel was very clean and the staff were always on hand if you ever needed anything. My friend and I both forgot our plug adapters and the reception staff kindly loaned us a couple till the end of our stay. I would highly recommend Monet garden hotel it’s a great base for accessing all the sites in Amsterdam the only public transport we used all weekend was the train to and from the airport.

Well appointed hotel - 20min walk to central station. Staff ver helpful. Supermarket and chemist nearby. Area cleaner than central Amsterdam. Used uber to get around if outside walking distance.

Great accommodation! Very clean & comfy room with updated bathroom & coffee machine. It was a little small but it was fine for a few nights. We walked everywhere - location was great! Had a room with a canal view which was ok. Staff very friendly! Would def stay again!

Hotel staff were very friendly. On my husband’s birthday, they decorated our room with balloons and gave us free champagne and cookies. We were amazed as we never mentioned my husband’s birthday to them.

Wow! This is one amazing hotel. It’s very clean, well decorated and cozy. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted and offered a beverage. The front desk staff were all pleasant and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was delicious and had many choices. I especially liked the fresh squeezed orange juice! The hotel is within walking distance to both the Rembrandt and Dam Squares as well as the hop on / hop off bus and canal cruise stops. While a few of the properties around the hotel are slightly unkept, it is a safe neighbourhood. Thank you to all the staff for making this a very enjoyable place to stay. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Lived up to all the positive reviews from all sources) in terms of amenities and customer service. I was able to check in very early which was much appreciated after a long flight. Room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable and shower was perfect (pressure/temperature). You get two bottles of water and six nespresso pods each night. Location is amazing walking location and feels very safe.

Staff is lovely. Beds are hard. This is not a 4 star, it’s a 3. No room service. Area outside around hotel is dirty with trash in the streets everywhere, it feels vaguely unsafe though the staff did reassure us that it was safe. I know I am judging it by American standards.
