Breakfast was good, but Surprisingly not Variety of cheeses being in Holland. No tables for the bags, Very uncomfortable having the bag on the floor. Room was Clean. Staff was very nice.

This property is located a short walk from the busy parts of downtown Amsterdam and about 20 minutes from the main train station. One could use the Metro but it is not much faster. The room we stayed in was to the back of the property and thus fairly quiet. The room was however rather on the small side. If you are in Amsterdam for a weekend getaway, it may not be a big problem but if you travel for longer and thus have more luggage, be prepared to have a suitcase or two in your way. The room we stayed in had one chair and a low round table. If you need space to work, and don't like the idea of sitting on the bed, you might want to use the lounge downstairs instead.

This hotel has some advantages - location is good, everything is within walking distance. It has helpful staff and a pleasant lounge on the first floor. However, the rooms are minimal - no shampoo/conditioner, no coffee maker in the room, no body lotion, and significantly, no refrigerator. The room felt stuffy and too warm to sleep comfortably. The thermostat in the room didn’t appear to be working. The windows can be opened but the hotel is located on a noisy street making sleep difficult. If you are a light sleeper this hotel may not be for you.
