Location was great. However, the room was generally not clean. We had to wipe the room to remove the dust. The light switch was broke. The toilet flush was broke. The Soap Dispensers were broken. There was no air con. We had to return the fan to be cleaned, the fan wasn't returned. The door into Entry 86 was broken and as we were in the first room 1028 it really felt at risk. At night, the door was constantly being slammed. When it rained I saw that the laundry room had a leaking roof. The laundry was still operating and electrics at risk. Overall really disappointing hotel, desperately needs refurbishment, tolerated due to the brilliant location.

Great location. Clean room. Nice breakfast. Just what we thought we had paid for and on top of that: Friendly and helpful staff. It was the lack of air conditioning that troubled us since our stay coincided with the hottest summer days. It is possible that other rooms were better of - we had booked a very small and basic room. And yes, be aware that the steps to the front door are very steep.

Good centre location for Amsterdam. Also easy to find. Very thin walls, had noisy people in room next door

Close to main eating places

Great location rooms are nice bed was very comfy, only complaint they wouldn't give us milk tea make a cup of tea in the room

Lovely hotel

Comfy beds, lovely view, okay shower.. Hair dryer and kettle provided... Room a bit small but didn't matter.. Lift was working the whole trip but is absolutely tiny if you're in block 86. Enjoyed every minute :)
