We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Lulu! It was our first time at this hotel, and we will definitely be back. The price was super affordable, and the service was excellent. From friendly staff at the check-in counter, to helpful and efficient staff when we encountered a minor issue, we couldn’t have asked for more. Plenty of parking, spacious rooms, fun pool area. The only thing missing was breakfast, but for the price, I can’t complain. The hotel is right next to the Toy Story parking lot, so we were able to walk there from the Harbor entrance to catch the shuttle to Disneyland.

I recently stayed at Hotel Lulu and honestly, it was a pretty disappointing experience. The biggest issue was the bathroom — the toilet was extremely loud every time it flushed, like jet-engine loud, and water would actually shoot up out of the bowl, which was both weird and gross. The shower wasn’t much better — the water pressure was so low it felt like a light drizzle. The hotel does offer one complimentary alcoholic beverage, which is a nice gesture, but it doesn’t really make up for the overall poor experience. The place just didn’t feel well maintained or comfortable. For the price and the location, I expected much better. I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The rooms were clean and the hotel was fun with the California feel to it. But for paying $145 a night there was some stuff that I look for that just was not there. Only one of the elevators worked which made it really hard with all the strollers being so close to Disneyland. There was instant coffee in the rooms instead of a normal one cup brew machine that you see in hotels these days. And the fan in the bathroom did not work in any of the three different rooms that we were staying in that might not seem like a big deal, but those are things that are important to me at a hotel
