We would rent this property again. We come to Anchorage every year. We have rented a number of properties through VRBO. This property isn't as new, or as decorated, as other properties we’ve rented, but it is priced well.What we liked: Great location, spacious, quiet, nice neighborhood, use of a garage, privacy, beautiful yard, lots of natural light, washer/dryer.The manager/owner of the building lives next door and he was very responsive to our requests. For example: We arrived at night and we noticed that there was no working coffee pot. We texted the property manager and he came right over. The next morning, we awoke to a text from him saying he had left a new-in-box coffee maker outside our front door.Suggestions: Please update the listing to be more accurate. The listing says expresso maker but as mentioned above, the coffee maker in the kitchen didn’t work. There is now a nice, new coffee maker, but not an espresso maker. The listing says Wi-Fi in one section, and “no Wi-Fi” in another section. There is Wi-Fi. The listing says that two of the bedrooms have mattresses on the floor. All the bedrooms have full queen beds on bedframes.The carpeting needs to be replaced as it is old and stained in areas.We recommend that you have more timely responses to questions prior to arrival. We sent multiple messages with questions prior to travel, and we didn’t receive answers until the day before we traveled.
