We loved our stay at Island Place. The staff were so friendly and resourceful. Our room was clean and such a wonderful place to come back to at the end of our long hiking days. We felt like our location was great to be able to walk around Bar Harbor and enjoy the downtown area.

We had a wonderful time at Island Place. It is a great location and we enjoyed many of the restaurants near the property. The staff of Island Place were very kind and set this place apart from other Bar Harbor options. We were heading into town for a wedding and they helped make sure we were checked in and ready to go! We would definitely stay here again!

The property is very well maintained, nice room, extremely clean and well taken care of. People are helpful, giving directions, helped with planning the days with tips and tricks. This was an amazing experience to stay at Island Place. Location is very close to the center, but far enough to stay quiet. Great place.
