Good food options for us even though my wife is vegetarian but eats fish, more than 3 nights might mean we repeat our selection, but excellent quality. Room presents nicely, absolutely spotlessly clean. Staff are all friendly. This was our second visit.
Make sure you DO NOT book with them if they have an event on ie Wedding. We stayed two nights in an Executive Room (patio doors lead on to main garden and close proximity to bar and terrace). Music from bar goes on til about 10.30 but the noise from the weddings is horrendous and went on til midnight. Very limited sleep both nights and even if you move rooms you are still going to hear everything due to the layout of the rooms. Usual banging when anyone goes in and out of their hotel rooms. Food and Staff were wonderful but you can get that at a pub - what you want from a HOTEL is a good nights sleep and we most certainly did not get that. Complaint asking for full refund underway.

Bit limited and small portions . You have to order extra veg on the set menu which seemed good value
Hotel is in a beautiful location with lots of free parking on site. The room was cosy, comfortable and clean. Unfortunately we felt like the staff at check-in would rather not be there, we had a brief description on how to reach our room but no other hotel facilities were brought to our attention, we had an unexpected hold charge put on our debit card, although this was refunded straight away when we checked out,
We would stay here again.
A wonderful venue and very enjoyable overnight stay whilst on business. Staff were friendly and supportive. A very good standard of accommodation in a lovely location at a good price. Food was also thoroughly enjoyable.
Lovely stay at Hogarths, service was very attentive, food was superb and we enjoyed walking around the grounds. The room was very spacious, newly renovated and comfortable.
After being placed in a cottage room which was very close to the facility hosting a wedding party
We asked to be moved to a quieter part of the hotel as we were nothing to do with the wedding party.
This was dealt with quickly and efficiently with no fuss.
From this point onwards we received great service in a great room with excellent breakfasts
We will use hotel and specific room for visiting family on future occasions.
Nice room. Front desk staff were great. Hotel is beautiful and the setting is idyllic.
Parking was easy and convenient. Great place to stay if they could improve on some things. No coffee maker, only instant coffee. Housekeeping to need improvement. First night towels removed but not replaced.
Combo shower tub would not drain when showering. Complained twice with no luck. Final night no tea or instant coffee replacement so we had to run to the front desk for a couple of coffee packets.
We refused to pay for a full English breakfast at 20 pounds when all we wanted was coffee and a light breakfast so we would eat out even without our instant coffee. My read was that they cater to the corporate clients who would not question their breakfast prices. They should rethink this policy for the private guests.
Overall a nice place with a good team but fix maintenance, house keeping and breakfast options.
Everything was very well kept and everything I look for in a hotel. Only problem was the sleep. 2 single mattresses put together, mattress and quilt were not comfortable. And loud fans all night which I could not turn off. Room 202
Unfriendly and impersonal reception gave a very poor start to our stay. There was a corporate event underway also, the bar and terrace were heaving so we elected for room service meals. They took 40 minutes and had to be chased up but were delicious when they arrived. No EV charging on site. It wasn't the best stay but I'd probably give it another chance if desperate.
